I found out, through a co-worker, that a friend of hers had discovered 8 tiny puppies abandoned in a large tupperware bin in one of the little parks that dot Richmond. My co-worker put me in touch with her friend, and that's how I met my Bo. The man was kind enough to take in 8 pups, no more than 5 weeks old (they'd just gotten their milk teeth) and take it upon himself to care for them and find them good homes. I picked up Bo from where he snuggled between his last two siblings remaining to be adopted and held him close to me. He looked up at me, sighed and snuggled deeper into my arms. That was it. I was hooked. His big, baby browns have shot straight to my heart from that first time I ever met him.
Bio:
Bogart has a large extended family in the form of my friends and their pets. Bella is his best buddy, and, I dare say, his doggie girlfriend. Whenever they visit with one another, their each covered in slobber and mud in about 5 minutes. Those two know what they like!

Hi! I'm Bogart. I'm almost 2 years old and I'm a mixed breed. Definitely some black lab or maybe retriever, but there's something else mixed in that makes me not quite one at the same time. To tell you the truth, I'm really part Dire Wolf. I'm a bit runty for a standard Dire Wolf, but that doesn't stop me! I love having adventures and going camping or to the beach with my pack. I'll have to tell you more about them later, there's alot of them, so it may take a while.
