Arrival Story:
My mum first came across the WFT breed when she saw a 2-month old wire pup at a pet-shop. However, it was booked to be sold already. Many months later, mum came to know of a wire pup of about 5-months old, unsold due to a bad bout of untreated fungus. She visited the farm to find me in a tiny cage, skin scarred by the fungus and not-so-responsive to attention. Iwas to live in the farm for life since I was already 5 months old, and had scarred skin. Mum realised that I was also the sister of the first wire pup she met at the pet-shop! She visited me again and got me out for viewing in a playpen. When she saw me hopped my little dance happily, clearly happy with a slightly bigger space, she decided to bring me home.
