Arrival Story:
Our next door neighbors mother (Ms. Judy) is a wildlife rehabilitator and rescues Australian Cattle Dogs. Merle does not have a very pleasant background, she was abused, kicked and God only know what else. Ms Judy, met us and thought that we would be good a guardian for Merle. We got her on July 16th 2002, and has been a very loyal dog since. Can’t understand why someone could abuse such a beautiful and intelligent animal (guess she was smarter than her owners!).

Bio:
She loves children and is very good rounding them up when we have to go somewere.
