Arrival Story: This is a farewell story:
Dao, our dog is at rest in a dog heaven Loka. We received a vision of a place : beautiful garden with a lake and flowers, hundreds of puppies playing; for every hundred puppies a human dressed in white and playing with them; above all this a chow chow floating down in a light body with his legs stretched out, glistening with sparkles, blue and purple sparkles, like a galaxy.
Several weeks later, he appeared in the sky above us as a beautiful fluffy cloud, and his features apparent to both of us. We could hardly believe it.
Every 8th moon, he comes back to visit. He is now in dog heaven and very powerful, happy and divine.

Bio: Dao passed away at the age of 15, not bad for a dog with 2 replaced hips and a myriad of surgeries over the years.

Dao, the therapy dog, served his community for 5 years as a medical therapy dog in his local hospital. He won awards, including Therapy Dog of the Year for 2003 from USA Today.

(he's in their video)
He was a typical chow, with personality and smarts, but a sweet streak and tons of love. In his last year on the earth plane, he loved companionship and being petted. He loved his walks, his car rides, his doggy friends, his people and being there for us. He was an angel dog. We will miss him.
We adopted Dao through the ASPCA 12 years ago. He received 2 hip replacements (required to keep him from pain) and was completely free of pain for many years. In his last year he was delicate but enthusiastic. We will miss him.
Well, I lived to be 15 years old and I've been a therapy service dog and I have 5 years of exemplary service dogs awards from my local hospital. I have 2 total hip replacements so I totally relate to what people have to go through w. surgeries and handicaps. I don't see very well, so I'm pretty much retired.
My vet says I don't have to drive or read so I'm going to continue my life of car rides, sniffing, running in the yard and running into things and getting petted by people. I deserve my life of luxurious retirement.
