I had a nice day yesterday. All my pals, and my great grandpawrents got together and helped me to celebrate my Bridge Day!
They threw me a Meatball Pawty!
My great grandma taught St. Frank how to make meatballs the right way (her way). She always made small, crunch meat-a-balls with lots of garlic, fresh Italian pawsley and cheese. They're only about the size of a cherry so you can eat a lot of them! St. Anthony was mincing tons of garlic, St. Frank helped soak bread and squeeze it out, St. Clare was chopping pawsley and St. Bonaventure was grating the cheese. Poor St. Boni! He had to grate tons of cheese which is a hard job and so is mincing garlic. Nobody would shake hands with St. Anthony last night! BOL!
Me and Coleman had our usual meatball tossing contest, see who can toss them the farthest! We threw them at everybody! BOL!!! St. Frank had one stuck in his beard! St. Anthony got one stuck in his sleeve and didn't know it. My great grandma was laughing at us! She saw but didn't tell on us! Great grandpa had the big bottle of wine and gave all of us angels little glasses of it with nice Tuscan bread to eat. It was sooooo good!
Heaven sure smellled good yesterday!
Thanks to all my pals for sharing that special day with me!

This was my second Christmas in heaven. What a feast!
The eggs and sausages with pancakes and maple syrup for breakfast, followed by that big tuna fish sandwich lunch, followed by the grand daddy of all spaghetti dinners. The meatballs were rolling! BOL!
Coleman and I had a spaghetti tossing contest until St. Anthony busted that up. We threw a meatball at him and it landed in the hood of his robe! I wonder if he found it yet! BOL! Angel Kisha had a special cake today because it was her Bridge Day. We all gathered around and sang to her.
Of course at Midnight last night we had the beautiful angelic procession to Bethlehem. We bichons all processed together two by two. I teamed up with Coleman and Zoe and Cosette were in front of us. Harpo and Max behind, followed by Angel and Camry. Angel Sam, Angel Kisha and Angel Sandy (Thumper) brought up the rear. Uncle Steve carried Angel Brandi Jo and Putter. Angel Sneakers walked next to Oliver Hoover, BoBo walked with Cinnamon, Silky and Pepper Schnoodles walked with each other. We got a lot of angels in our group this year. We all told baby Jesus about our pawrents back home who miss us so much and He smiled and blessed us and our pawrents and earth siblings. He's sure a cute baby!
Merry Christmas to all of our loved ones back on earth. We are always waiting for you but having a blast in the meanwhile! Mommy, I am always watching you so don't be sad. I wuv you so much. We will be together soon.
Wuv,
JR Angel

Hi to all our pals from heaven. We are having a huge pawty today. St. Frank is the big cheese up here today and we are celebrating big time! We already had a pancake breakfast.
At the table with me were all of our angels, Angel, Angel Sam, Angel Silky, Angel Coleman, Angel Cosette, Angel Putter, Angel Brandi Jo, Angel Ringo, Angel Lexi, Angel Sneakers, Angels Harpo and Max, Angel Ozzy, Angel Maggie May, Angel Pepper Schnoodle, Angel Cinammon, Angel Princess, Angel Bobo and And Angel Hoover (Ollie J). Uncle Steve helped out and couldn't keep up with the demands for more pancakes and sausages! We are a demanding bunch! When he'd come with the big tray, we'd jump him and lick his face and he'd drop some, but it's ok. We're dogs and we don't care if the pancakes and sausages fall to the ground! We eat it right up.
Later on, we're gonna have a nice, orderly (BOL) procession through the city, the heavenly Jersualem. A lot of animals will pawticipate, so it should be amazing!
At St. Frank's table this morning were the wolf of Gubbio and the rabbit he rescued from the snare as well as all the worms he saved from the road during the rains. The birds he preached to hung about the trees behind him making quite a racket and they ate all their seeds. We had a pawsome morning so far. I'm sure that dinner will be pawsome!
St. Frank told me to tell all of you that he wuvs each one of you and will send his blessing down on you all!
Wuv from heaven,
JR Angel
Part 2
Hi Sonny, this is just to pick up and continue the rest of the day. You will be very happy to know that Uncle Steve was relieved of duty for dinner. Brother Leo, Elias and Giles helped to serve the big dinner to the pets. Uncle Steve sat at the table elbow to elbow with the rest of us.
It's a good thing he has a sense of humor about it all. We kept trying to sneak stuff off his plate. One of us would pretened to be choking and then the dog on the other side would snarf a piece of steak off his plate! But he caught on pretty quickly.
When the deserts came out, we all thought we were...wait..we ARE in heaven! It was amazing! Apple pie ala mode, brownies ala mode, and St. Frank's absolute favorite, cannolis!
We also had the procession. It was supposed to be very solemn, but some of the huskies were pretending to be the wolf of Gubbio and were just cracking us all up!
I think St. Frank had a pawsome day. He said it was one of the best ones ever. I'm sure it was. I don't think he's ever seen a bunch like the BLC Angels, that's fur sure!
Well fed, fat and happy!
