Mom says the weekend is going to be very busy, in fact all of December is busy too! Today we went to the beach to get a photo of me surfing for our Christmas card. It was warm and sunny, but BBRRRRR the water was cold!
We had a hot shower when we got home.
I have play dates all weekend and then a lure course next weekend. Oh and a Christmas party! Think I'll wear my red lei for dressing up....Rafiki is going as Santa (the outfit is too small for me now)
I was gonna say more but the heater just came on and I'm feeling kinda sleepy......
We are home from Camp! Boy is my Mom tired! We did a triahtelon after camp and managed to win an Iron Dog title! I can run, swim and bike with the best of them! I did go to ground, but couldn't fit all the way down in the tunnel, mom yanked on my tail to make me come back out. I know I smelled a rat down there, but I couldn't get close enough to see it. After Mom let me look at it in it's cage and I growled at it and it tried to bite me on the nose!
We did weight pulling..I pulled 158 pounds, more than Mom, so she was surprised that all my practice at pulling her around had built up my muscles.
I did agility (I love tunnels) and freestyle obedience to "Let's do the time warp again" and lots of other stuff. My sister Komet did a lot of fun stuff too, but mostly she likes sitting on top of someone's crate and saying "neener neener neener!) Or riding on Mom's shoulder. She can dance tho!
Off to the beach!
Today one our friends is coming to the beach with us. Her buddy, best friend, dog-child died about a month ago, and we know the sadness she carries in her heart. Mom says I can lighten even the heaviest of hearts with my playful spirit so today I have a mission to make people smile, laugh and
feel the freedom of the ocean. I was a little worried, then Mom said, hey just do what you always do and have some fun.
I hear that I may start training for a J-O-B soon...I don't know what that is, but it involves visiting people, so it can't be too bad!
Off to the beach, Cowabunga Dude!
