Likes:
Chases Butterflies...leaps through the air to catch them and anything else that should come into the yard.Buster is a ball thief, if he even sees the neighbors ball , he tries to steal it. Buster loves ice cubes.

Pet-Peeves:
Disturbing his sleep time. Squeakers in Squeaky toys. Vaccum Cleaner. When left one for a single second. Buster hates the word "NO"! When he cant find his tennis ball. Anything that should wander in the yard. Buster Hates the mailman.

Favorite Toy:
Tennis Balls, Kong Toys and his brother Brody. He loves to destroy rope toys to untangle all of it.

Favorite Food:
Meaty Bones......Lots of Meaty Bones.......whatever you do Do Not bring home anything different.

Favorite Walk:
Walk? Oh no that is just asking for it. Buster hates his leash. We even tried a retractable one that was horrible. He will pull you down the street before you can say "HEEL". Instead we take him to an open field and just let him run.

Best Tricks:
Placing a Begging Strip on his nose. He balances it for a minute then telling him OK ..He will toss it in the air to catch it. He catches it MOST of the time.......Trying to jump farther than he did last time.

Arrival Story:
My boyfriend decided he wanted to get a dog. He wanted a pruebred German Shorthair Pointer. At that time I did not know of the breed. I agreed before I researched the breed. We went to the store one day and they had a flyer there of a litter of German Shorthair Pointers, I encouraged him to call. We went and looked at the litter, and he wanted Buster (the white and liver /patched and ticked. I wanted the all brown one. We bought the white and liver/patched and ticked. Upon getting to know Buster I researched the breed to find out they are high strung, cant handle being alone and destroy almost evrything they can. He needed constant supervision at first. I wasnt sure if we were going to make it through puppyhood. We did make it out of it. Buster is our pride and joy. He is a handful but he gives us so much more back in return.

Bio:
Buster is always busy. Buster worries about every little thing . We can not walk out of the room without him having to have to come investigate what we are doing even if he is sound to sleep. Buster is a jumper , jumps everything sometimes jumps midsteam when he is running.. Buster has personality with an exceptional genetic background.

Forums Motto:
'I know I can jump it

Worst thing your dog has done?:
We decided we would buy a TROLLY. It looked simple enough. We had this trolly about one week. Buster was on the trolly one day, and the neighbors have two pugs. Buster completely went crazy upon seeing pugs he tore the front door frame away from the house

A DOG'S PLEA

Treat me kindly, my beloved friend for no heart in all the world is more grateful for kindness than the loving heart of me.

Do not break my spirit with a stick, for though I might lick your hand between blows, your patience and understanding will more quickly teach me the things you would have me learn.

Speak to me often, for your voice is the world's sweetest music, as you must know by the fierce wagging of my tail when the sound of your footstep falls upon my waiting ear.

Please take me inside when it is cold and wet, for I am a domestic animal, no longer accustomed to bitter elements. I ask no greater glory than the privilege of sitting at your feet beside the hearth.

Keep my pan with fresh water, for I can not tell you when I suffer thirst. Feed me clean food that I may stay well to romp and play and do your bidding, to walk by your side and stand ready, willing, and able to protect you with my life, should your life be in danger.

And my friend, when I am very old and I NO longer enjoy good health, hearing and sight, DO NOT make heroic efforts to keep me going. I am not having any fun. Please see to it that my life is taken gently. I shall leave this earth knowing with the last breath I draw that my fate was always safest in your hands.

Buster is still very healthy and my best friend, this poem was given to me by my breeder when we picked Buster up . I thought it was beautiful and I wanted to share it with everyone that has lost a pet or has just purchased one. So enjoy it and cherish everyday with your dog. Dogs bring us so much joy and laughter. Some say dogs keep us younger....and make us healthier.
