Diesel is my first Dane. The day we went to just look, he climbed into my lap and my soul. We took him home that day. He loves his little sister Gabby, and truly enjoys barking at his neighbors.
Bio:
Hi I'm the orignal Diesel! Gabby is my little sister and we have always been together. I remember when Mommy brought her home, I really didn't like her at first. She got to have the new baby that was in the crate, and she got to sleep with us. After I found out how much fun we could have I decided we could keep her.
Diesel was diagnosed with Osteosarcoma on October 5, 2007. Even though we found it early, it moved fast. I tried to keep him comfortable and happy. I knew he would tell me when it was time, like Gabby and he did. On Saturday October 20, a year from the day that his sister crossed the bridge, he told me he was ready. We spent Sunday just laying around the house together, Monday was spent visiting our old house, dog park, eating tons of fun stuff and enjoying our moments. Today, Tuesday Oct 23, 2007 with the love of his Vet. Dr. Lori Elliot, he crossed the Rainbow Bridge. I know he is with Gabriella now and pain free.
