My sweet Babyman,
I still can't believe that it has been two years since we said good bye... I can still remember that day we met you walked into my lap and my heart. You will always be my sweet boy and I am such the better person for having loved you.
Until we meet again...
Love you always,
Mommy

My beloved Diesel Blue, where has the time gone? One year ago today I said good bye to you my beautiful Babyman. I just can't believe that you are gone and a year has past. I still can close my eyes and feel you here. You were so very sweet and loving and friends with so many. From the first day we met, you captured my heart and I was changed forever. You were so goofy and sweet, and oh did you know how to work that sweet face of yours! When you got sick, I was beside myself. The cancer took you so fast, that I really didn't have time to adjust to the fact you would be gone. I love you so very much my sweet baby, and miss you every single day. I know that you are pain free and with your sister Gabriella and the two of you are having so much fun, just like you did when you were together here.
I love you, my Babyman and I know someday we will be together again, and until that time, please visit me in my dreams.
Love you always,
Mommy

Today would have been my Babyman's 8th birthday. I still can't believe that he is gone.
I still recall so strongly the day we went to "just look" at puppies... 2 hours later we were driving home with my boy fast asleep in my lap. He captured my heart that day, and since meeting him I was forever changed.
We had a huge 1st birthday party for him "Babyman's Birthday Bash", there were about 9 Great Danes there, 3 labs, and 5 mix breeds. We had put all the doggie treats in doggie bowls around the house and had water stations throughout out the backyard. We set the people food and drinks on the kitched counter, we thought it would be out of reach, but you know those Danes! Otis, my friend Amy's boy went right up and helped himself to the cheese plate! It was so funny!! Amy & I just laughed, the next thing my ex's Dad went up and asked if the cheese was good, and we looked at each other and yes, "Yes, it seems to be a real hit"! So, he helped himself!
That day was just one of many special days I had with my boy. He had an amazing way about him, he always seemed to know when I needed him to make me laugh, or kiss away my tears.
My beloved Boy, you will be in my heart always...

My beautiful boy was ready to go, he told me on Saturday evening the same day one year before that his sister Gabby crossed the bridge.
My goal from the beginning was to keep him as comfortable as possible. Saturday he was restless and he looked at Me to tell me it was okay.
Sunday came and I decided that I would have to let him go. I called my ex and told him, and we made plans for him to come by and visit the following day.
On Monday morning we woke up and drove out to the house he first lived in out in the country. He seemed to remember the drive and got excited when I hit the gravel drive. He got out and walked and marked his old stompy grounds. We then went to our dog run and I laid down down some blankets and we laid in the sun and just enjoyed the moment. He had some of his favorite visitors and for dinner he had filet mignon. :)
This morning we woke up, had some ground sirloin and rice for breakfast and a few more treats and of course one last Jumbone.
Diesel was able to walk himself into the clinic and had a smile on his face like always. We laid down on the blankets and put our pillow under his head. I laid next to him and rubbed his gorgeous ears and told him that I would be okay and it was time for him to see his sister Gabby.
Diesel was my love, and coming home without him, well I think I am still out of it.
Diesel Blue, my darling boy... from the moment you walked into my lap,you walked into my heart. You will always be my Babyman and I know that I was blessed to be loved by you.
Run and play with Gabby and I hope the two of you visit me in my dreams.
Love you always, Mommy

Hi friends,
I have to tell you "All about last night". Simon's meowm introduced my Mom to a lady by the name of Joan Ranquet. I am going to let her write, because she types and spells better. ~ Diesel Blue
First of all, thank you Nina & Simon - they are pals of our at Big Leo's Stray Cat Alley.
When Diesel was diagnosed with osteosarcoma on Friday my world came crashing down on me. It will be just a year on 10/20 that Gabby crossed the bridge and I am still mourning the loss of her. To think that my boy would be leaving me, just rocked me to my core. Nina emailed me and told me about Joan and that she has had some great success with ailing animals and that she was able to communicate with them. I will be honest and was like, okay I have done the pet communicator thing before and when I hung up the phone felt that someone had just stole from me. Nina had me get in touch with her daughter Jessica, who then got me in touch with Joan. I googled Joan and found her website: www.joanranquet.com and began to read.
I contacted her and we met last night - 10/10/07. Let me tell you, she was 110% on the money. She told me things, that only my best friend would know or someone who lived with me.
My goal was to find out how Diesel was feeling. He is uncomfortable, a little sore but not in pain. He knows that I worry, too much according to him, and that he is worried about me. He knows that I am sad and that worries him.
Our conversation was amazing and when it ended my heart was full and my head was light.
I know the route we are going to take to treat him - all holistic and when the time comes and he doesn't want "ice cream", milkbones, or that his tail is wagging, I will have to deal then.
Right now, we are living for the moment and I am making sure that he is my happy Babyman.
If you have ever wondered about communicating with your beloved fur friend, let me tell you - Joan is the person to call.
Have a wonderfully blessed day!!

We have been so busy lately! Summer ending, leaves changing, and the weather is getting cooler. My favorite time of year for sure! Being a black dog, the heat really bothers me a lot!
Earlier this week my knee started to swell. Mommy watched it for a few days and on Thursday night I started to limp a bit. Mommy called my Dr. Lori to get me a visit with her. They didn't have any appointments so Mommy had to drop me off. I love Shady Grove Animal Clinic! Everyone there just loves me, and I get so very spoiled! I get this huge area just for me, and all the Vet Techs take their breaks to hang out with Me!! They took some pictures of my leg and then I got some of my favorite treats! I hung out with the girls for a while longer and then Mommy came to pick me up and bring me home! She seemed a little sad and called a couple of people on her cell phone. Our friend Amy came to visit us. She is really cool and has a Dane named Sampson. He looks just like me. He is tall and goofy and black, just like ME!!
My Mommy is going to write now for a few minutes. ~ Diesel Blue
Diesel has been diagnosed with bone cancer. I am devestated. We are looking at a month, maybe three. I am still not over losing Gabby, and just not ready to lose my boy.
I am going to do everything I can to keep him comfy and happy. When it is his time, I know he will tell me just like Gabby did.
Please pray for my boy...
Thank you,
Fancy

Boy am I glad that Summer is almost over!
It has been so very hot and humid and we would have to take our walks really early in the morning or very late at night. That was terrible too because of the nasty mosquitos that bite mommy!
When we we took our walk when Mommy got home from work, it was great! The sun was out and there was a little bit of wind. I was able to stay out a little longer and there were no bugs!
Well, time for my after dinner nap!

My Mom woke us up really early today. She went to the Federal Courthouse this morning to try to get a seat in Judge Hudson's courtroom today. I am going to let her tell you what happened...
When I arrived at 6:30 this morning, there were already about 30 people ahead of me in line. Many were people from the press & media. There was a man and his son wearing shirts that said: My Dog Hates Michael Vick, and there was another man there with his wife wearing a Vick Jersey. This guy was standing one person ahead of me and was interviewed by many people from the media. He was firm in his support of Vick and told many reporters that he didn't believe that Vick should do any time and that he felt that he was pushed into a corner. It was really difficult standing there listening to this idiot talk. Another ignorant person. Two people away in line was Ed Sayers, the President of the ASPCA. He was very nice and well spoken. He was interviewed by a few reporters, but many people didn't realize it was him. The ASPCA worked with Feds on the case and wasn't able to discuss this case prior to his plea.
We were all given Blue Dots to wear that showed we would be given entrance into the courtroom. There were roughly 72 seats, and most were filled by the press. The room hit capacity at roughly 10:10am and there was just one bench left empty behind the defense table and that had been saved for Vick's family.
Vick entered the courtroom at 10:28am. I was amazed at how truly small in person he appeared. Next to his two attorneys, he certainly didn't look as huge as he had in the past.
The process began and Judge Hudson read the plea agreement and asked if Vick understood what the agreement meant. He asked if his attorneys have made it very clear what the plea agreement means. If Vick understood that the advice they have given is an educated assemment. Judge Hudson can adjust the guidelines, upward or downward, and that he will serve 85% of his sentence. The maximum was 5 years, $250,000 and 3 years supervised released probation. Judge Hudson said, "I am not bound by this Plea".
Vick would now be considered a convicted FELON, no voter rights, no fire arms, no appeal in this case and will have to cooperate with the Feds and this case going forward and can't take the 5th.
Judge Hudson said, "You're taking your chances here, you have to live with whatever sentence I give you". Vicks response, "Yes, Sir".
Hudson also told Vick that he is to make full restitution for the care of all the dogs seized from his property, and within 10 days. He asked if Vick understood and again, "Yes, Sir".
At 10:45am, Michael Vick pled GUILTY.
Judge Hudson ordered his bond to stay in place, no drugs, no illegal activity, and he would be back in the courtroom on December 10, 2007 at 10am to learn his fate.
Now, I have just heard his apology on ESPN. The broadcasters have been debating the merits of his apology. Vick needs to step up and get REAL. Own up to what you have done, be a Man and say EXACTLY what you are truly SORRY for.
As far as I am concerned, he hasn't even come close. He is a liar, convicted felon and a DOG KILLER.
Screw you VICK and your lame apology!
I will be there on December 10th to hear his fate and I pray to God, that Judge Hudson tosses the book at all 4 of these jerks with no souls.

I want to thank all of my Pup Pals and their mommies & daddies for the rosettes, stars, bones and pawmail.
Mommy & I are in a video that Cindy made. She is the nice lady that did the video in memory of all the doggies that were named in the Vick Indictment. Cindy did a new video that is called a Lesson in Love for Michael Vick and the music in the background is "All you need is Love" by the Beatles. (Mommy really loves that song) Anyway, Cindy made this video for all breeds of doggies. It is filled with pictures of doggies and their mommies and daddies playing, swimming, and giving lots and lots of kisses! The picture of me and mommy is one that Jennifer took. It is a really good one of Me, you see I am very handsome and she caught my perfect side. Well, actually all sides of me are good! WOOF!!
Any you should check out the video if you get a chance, here is the link to it:

Have a GR8 Dane day,
