Where Is My Daddy?

I'm a little bit irratated tonight. My daddy went to work without me. I don't know why, I usually get to go. I was all ready to go and waiting at the door when he had to leave. But mommy picked me up and he gave me a kiss and just walked out the door. I thought maybe he was loading the car or something so I waited at the door. I waited and waited and waited. Finally mommy came to the door she said a bunch of stuff I didn't understand and brought me into the living room. I can't believe he left me with a bunch of girls! I am soooo bummed. Mom is fun, we watch animal planet and stuff, but... When I go to work with daddy we usually stop and get a burger and fries, I get to sniff out all sorts of cool stuff that I don't get to smell at home, dads office is fun I have some chewies and stuff there, and we get some male bonding time. I wonder what he is doing, I hope he comes home soon. He is going to have some major explaining to do.

Doctors

Yesterday was my yearly checkup. Mom got me up really early and loaded me and my sisters into the car. I love riding in the car. I do a really good job (at least that's what mommy tells me). But it was raining yesterday and I didn't much care for the sound of the tires going through puddles, I wasn't sure what it was.
My checkup went alright, my sisters made me go first. (They always pick on me) I think I might have gotten a bug bite while I was there though... it was strange. The vet said my legs look a lot better than she expected them to and I'm really healthy, all except for my barfing problem. The vet told mommy that maybe I should get a scope of my stomach... I don't know what that is, but I don't like it. After the vet mommy promised we'd go see my best friend in the whole world... OTIS! When I got there I was soooooo excited, before mommy could even get the girls out of the car I was already in the house with Otis.
It was a very good day, I don't even mind the doctor (they give me lots of attention and say what a gentleman I am and I know I always get a special treat in the end).

Mommy Had Surgery

My mommy had surgery last week. At first I didn't like it one bit. I couldn't play with her or hang out with her or anything for the first two days after she came home. I was upset and confused, nothing made sense. Then on the third day daddy let me and my sisters visit mommy in her bed. We had a blast! We couldn't play too much because she was sore but we watched movies and took naps together. I missed my mommy and I was just glad to be with her and she felt better too when she saw me. I took really good care of her and was very careful not to get too excited... now she feels better and we are back to dancing every day!
