Once he got his head stuck in an empty box of mint chocolate icecream, it was SO funny. uckily he popped his head right back out with a happy look on his face.
Arrival Story:
Kao was my childhood pet. We were moving back to Grand Jct. after my father finished his masters degree. Dad moved back 1st to set up the house etc. and one evening he called my mother and told her that one of his friend's dogs just had a litter of pekingese. My mother wasnt happy because she thought pekingese were ugly, but soon gave in. We moved back to GJ soon after and started visiting the tiny pup every week. It seemed like a very long time but finally it was time for him to come home.
Bio:
He was my best friend in the entire world and even though he was killed when he was only 6 yrs and 6 months old (to the day!) on xmas eve in 1996. He got out of our yard and was hit by a car. I still miss him. He got me through my teen years which are always hard, and I didn't think I would beable to move on with out him. To this day I miss him. Now my mother will have no other breed than the pekingese. She realized how beautiful, smart, loving, and wonderful they are. I have always been nervous about getting another pekingese because I knew no other peke could take his place, but then Chen Po fell into my life (10 yrs after Kao's death) and I often wonder if Kao had something to do with that. I believe he watches over my children and I. I miss you my little Kao angel.

Kao had 4 brothers and sisters but only he and the runt, a little boy, survived. His brothers name was Cang-Chang. His mother was a pure white Peke named Tie-Ling, His father looked like a darver virsion of Kao. His name was meetoo. His aunt was Sue-Sue.
