I HAD SURGERY

Mommy has been fighting with herself weather or not to have some giant fatty tumors taken off me. I know she worries about me so after careful consideration and talking to the vet she took me in to have three of the four tumors removed. I had one on my chest that was softball size causing me problems with getting up and down and two under my back legs causing movement problems. After surgery it was slow and go for one day but this weekend I went camping with mommy and daddy (she did not want o leave me at the vets and we have a nice travel trailer). I was up and going!! I literally ran up and down the steps of the trailer!!! It feels so good not to have those weights on my body. Mommy is taking me in for my first follow-up this morning. I get my staples out in five more days....varmits watch out now I am ready to rock and roll again!!

SHE'S NOT SO BAD

Ruby and I have gotten to know one another pretty well. She has a little more energy than I would like now that I am older. But I will grab a toy once in a while and run by her giving her the signal "play time". She will chase me and play tug o war with the toy. I have taught her that the pool mom buys every year is ours and we can splash and play in it. I finally got the little wimp to get all fours wet at least. If she gets in with me I get her all wet!! ha ha Bully, Ruby and I will take time in the morning to sit outside together and take in the soft morning rays. Yes, life is indeed good!

WHO ASKED FOR A SISTER?

January 13, 2008, mom and dad left all day and when they came home they brought a little Jack Russell Terrier female 4 months old. I was mad at them!! I would not come out of the bathroom...I made mom bring me my food and make a special effort to come get me and put me on her lap. Well, it has been over a month and I have watched this little girl. She minds me when I growl at her...she knows I don't want to play at that time. But if she comes in with a stuffed toy in her mouth I will sometimes go run after her and play tug of war. I think I can share mom and dad with her as long as I am still special too. I think this will work.
