I have long admired their bloodhound "Moonie". He is a gorgeous hunka hunka hound. I saw her recent litter of bloodhounds sired by Moonie and fell in love with China Moon. But I wasn't in the market for a bloodhound and she wasn't available anyway, she was the breeders pick pup she was keeping. But I couldn't get her out of my mind so I told China's breeder if she would give her up I would take her. It was the only puppy I wanted. China's breeder thought long and hard about it and decided that I could give China a wonderful life as both a member of our family and a show dog, so she let me take her home 3 weeks after I first met China Moon. She settled into our family so easily that it was definately meant to be. Myself and many others are convinced that she has my ATB Virgil's sole. They have so many similarities it's uncanny. Bio: China Moons' daddy "Moonie" finished 2006 as the #1 ranked bloodhound in the AKC. He is magnificent. We have a lot of hope for this pretty girl.
Update: On October 6, 2006 daddy Moonie won the Bloodhound Nationals.

This past Saturday at the Kennel Club of Palm Springs show I became and official AKC Champion! Mom was is very proud of me and said that I was a very good girl for her. We had a very fun weekend hanging out with all of our bloodhound, basset and basenji (hi Apache!) friends. Mom also handles a basset hound boy for a friend and he also received a 4 point major on Saturday. And as if that wasn't enough, topping our great weekend off was the ultimate in dog show experiences. On Sunday, my daddy Moonie, went BEST IN SHOW!!!
