Arrival Story:
Sophie was a rescue I adopted from my local humane society. She and her sister had been rescued from the basement of their previous owner. The exact details of the abuse was never told to me but it must have been severe since she has not fully recovered and probably never will. She was the one who greeted me at the gate and I thought she was pretty. It was rough the first couple months since she was not very social, scared of everything, and had lots of nightmares. She bonded immediately with my other dog Rollie and I think that truly helped her. She has since come into her own and now is a damanding diva :)

Adopted her when she was three months old.
