Wally was going to be euthanized from a pet store due to his crappy hips. He has severe hip dysplasia, and he is a wonderful dog. I couldnt let it that happen. so I signed a waiver that any medical issues would be my responisibility and Wally has been mine ever since.

So, my Mom set up this Dogster thing for me, and this is my first entry.
About me, I am 2 yrs old, funloving, friendly and all around happy. I have severe hip dysplasia, which was found when I was only 3 months old. Only reason that was found, was I already in the hospital with a double bacterial pnuemonia, which I got in that nasty pet store I was in. My mom got me into the emergency room, and I was in an oxygen tank for 5 days, then my mom got to take me home, nurse me on soft icky mushy food, give me IV meds, and for that, I have to be her shadow. My mommy saved my life and believed in me when everyone said I wouldnt make it.
My hips are still pretty bad, but I am not in pain, on a very strict diet so I dont get too chubby, as we know how us bullies can get...My vet said I dont need surgery yet or pain meds...but will in the next 2 or so years.
So thats about me! Looking foward to chatting with new and old friends!
