She's always getting my shoes, but she doesn't EVER chew them up!!
Arrival Story:
I had just lost my beloved Cassie to lymphoma a couple of months before and was casually cruising Petfinder.com when I saw Shasta's picture. She looked so thin, sad, and miserable :(
It was love at first sight and I was determined to give her a much better life than she had had before.
When we first met, she kissed me on the lips...and she continues to do so every day!!
Bio:
Shasta was dumped at the pound with her puppies because there were "too many" and was rescued by Mutts & Moms. I can't imagine ANYONE dumping this dog...she is WONDERFUL!! She's patient, non-destructive, loving, cuddly, eager to please, extremely smart, quick to learn, and a JOY to live with! Somewhere out there, her puppies are thriving with Shasta's "cuddle gene" and giving LOTS of love to their families :) They are shining examples of why "pound puppies" are the best!
Shasta is the BEST thing in my life!! :)

Shasta is now working towards becoming a Therapy Dog! She's so good with people that I thought she should have a job...working with children, elderly, and disabled...so she's working on growing up enough to be a good "therapist" :)
