Snorffling people is the mostest fun EVER!
Wilma doesn't particularly care to be ignored by people or dogs in the house.
Anything someone else has!
Kibble is good, wet food (even with heartworm preventive in it) is good. Wilma hasn't really had much table food.
Walk?! You said WALK?! OH BOY, oh boy, let's go - anywhere, I don't care, let's just GO!!
Wilma does "doggie donuts" (she spins in circles) and she will sit if you ask her nicely.
We were Wilma's foster family. She was part of Colorado St Bernard Rescue and finally found her Forever Home. The shelter she was in was going to euthanise her because of her hygromas (big fleshy lumps on her elbows from hard flopping onto concrete repeatedly) - they said she was "cosmetically unadoptable." Her hygromas almost disappeared completely while in our foster care. The other dogs in her foster pack taught her how to lay down gently.
Wilma is a sweetheart and would never be considered an Einstein by anyone. She's very, very eager when there's something to be handed out - kibble, cookies, affection - she always wants to be the first in line. With our pack, though, she seems to be learning it's okay to wait her turn and that we won't run out of anything, she won't miss out, there'll still be stuff for her. Please visit http://www.cosaintrescue.com for more information about Wilma and the rest of her Saint brethren needing good homes!
Welcome to Saint-Hood!
