home with my mom!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

finally!!!!!!!!! after 2 and a half years i am finally home with my mom!!!! she could'nt keep me before because she lived in an apartment and there was nowhere for me to run, but now she has moved into a house with her best friend and there is a huge fenced in yard and i can run and frolic all over the place! she picked me up last saturday and took me to this place where they bathed and groomed me (i came out smelling like a big christmas cookie)...then we drove to this house...and there was this big yard...and there was a brand new house for me sitting there with a big cozy comforter in it and it's out in the country and there are all sorts of birds and trees and even a creek to play in!!! i love, love, love it!!

mom always said she'd have me with her one day and now here i am (though i'm still following her around every step she takes just to make sure she does'nt leave me again).but i don't think that's gonna happen cause she keeps kissing me and telling me over and over.............'you're home baby...you're home'..........

great news!!!!

as you guys may know, i've been staying at my aunt jackie's cause my mom lives in an apartment with no yard for me to romp in......wellllllllllllll...guess what?!?! mom is going to be moving in with her best friend, my uncle randy!! she'll be a home owner (which excites her) and i'll have a huge fenced in yard out in the country to frolic and romp in (which excites us both!) she's taken me over there several times already and i just love it! there's even a creek nearby that i can explore!

mom has been telling me that one day we'd be together all the time and i know she's been working really hard to make it happen.....now it's really going to!!!! it's gonna be another few months before the final move, but it's gonna be GREAT!!!!!!!!!

going to the vet...

last week mom had to take me to the vet....she came to pick me up for one of our days together and went bonkers cause my eyes were matted up and yucky.....of course first she had to take me to her apartment and give me about 3 baths to get all the mud off me...she also trimmed off tons of my long hair on my belly and legs...she said since i am outdoors for now there is no point in having all that fur to get muddy (she said i looked like a rastafarian pup with 'mudlocks'...whatever that means!)...so clean and sheared off we went to the vet...it was'nt too bad but i got a shot and some ointment for my eyes.....the doc said it was just conjunctivitis and quite common....i think he was more worried about my mom (who was crying)...but she was ok by the time we left....we spent the rest of the afternoon cuddling and frolicking (and my eyes are almost completely better now)...yayyyyyyy!!!

a day with my mom!!!

oh boy! oh boy! oh boy! yesterday i got to spend the day with my mom!!! first we went to her apartment and gave me a bath...i love baths!!! then we had some quiet time, just laying on her bed and cuddling.....i love cuddling!! then we went for a walk out in the gardens and i got to scare some rabbits...we had treats and sat out on the patio for a long time....then we went driving...i love riding, especially sticking my head out of the windows and letting the wind hit my face...almost like running! mom took lots of pictures of me (as usual)...also as usual, when she brought me back to jackie's, she became sad...but she and i both know that she'll be back in a few days and off we'll be on another adventure!

hi everybody!! my name is topanga, but most people call me 'pong' for short....i don't actually live with my mom cause she lives in an apartment (for now) and i need a lot of space to run in....but i'm lucky to live out in the country with a good friend of my mom's named jackie. i have a realllllly huge pen there that i share with a doby named sophie and we have lots and lots of woods to run and roam in too.
mom comes to see me a lot though, and she always brings treats and lots of hugs and kisses for me.
everybody says i'm beautiful, but i don't care about stuff like that.....i just want to run and play and cuddle when i'm tired!!!!
my registered name is 'len's reason to smile'...(len is mom's name).
it's kinda funny that she named me her reason to smile cause when she comes to see me, or after we spend the day together, every time she has to leave me, she cries....sometimes she cries a lot...i just sit very still when she does this and let her hold me real close and cry in my fur and i give her many wet sloppy kisses.....i get sad too when she has to leave, but one day i know i will be able to stay with her all the time and that will just be the best!! meanwhile life is good at aunt jackie's and there are lots of birds to chase here too!!!
