Arrival Story: My boyfriend and I had just bought a house, so since we were FINALLY out of apartment living, we decided to get a dog. Wee i was instrumental in the fact. Anyhoo, I was actively looking and went to our local and fantastic SPCA shelter one day. I walked in and took a look at all the dogs waiting to be taken home by a lucky family. There was Abby off to the left, and she was the only doggy not barking! I liked that immediatly! I went over to her pet her through her little fence, she was so sweet, so gentle. Then i asked if i could take her for a walk, so the head dog walker and I took her for a walk in the nearby trails. She was very good on the leash, and stopped to sniff every gosh darn thing (which she still does!). After that outing, i told Travis that she was a really great dog and he should go and see for himself. He said he would try to next week. Next week came and I was at work and Travis had the car, so he came to pick me up at the end of my shift, and there was ABBY!! in the backseat! What a surprise. And that was the end of a clean 2005 mazda3. :) ha

Bio: Well apparently, Abby was a farm dog and her previous people claimed that she was good with ducks. Well, ducks we ain't got, but we gots cats!!! 5 of em. yeah, but is she good with cats, we ask the spca workers. oh yes, she is good with ducks, so she is good with all animals. well no, she is not...she chases them and tries to maul them. so needless to say, they have had to reside in seperate parts of the house. Not too much we actually know about Abby's past. We were also told she was a SHEP/LAB mix, but our vet said more like, shep/akita/and some pitty/mastiff. We still aren't really too sure, but we love her to pieces anyways!!!
