Likes: Snuggling, being nosy, dancing on hind legs, being in laps

Pet-Peeves: Being left all alone and when Dad scruffs my butt.

Favorite Toy: The purple squeaky man!!! Get it!

Favorite Food: Bacon. and turkey. and beef. and cheese. and caramel rice cakes. and celery. and pretty much anything.

Favorite Walk: The hikes in Colorado. Come ON, Mom and Dad! We've got to find out what's at the end of the path!

Best Tricks: Making friends with EVERYONE!! My favorites are people who sit on benches. They were born to pet me.

Arrival Story: I'm a sato who was rescued in Puerto Rico. I was sick, scared, and lonely. I am also very small, which isn't good for a life on the streets. A lot of people would poison, burn, and beat us. I'm lucky to be alive, and so thankful to be healthy again. My new parents are grad students at Harvard, and I hear they're really excited to bring me home! I heard a rumor that my new parents originally intended to get a pug puppy but couldn't help themselves when they found out what we satos have to go through. And I was SO cute in my photo!

Bio: Please visit www.saveasato.org for the story of me and all my buddies...and think about giving one of us a home.

Forums Motto: ScruffyMan!

Well, it's September, and I'm bummed. My mom and dad took me all over the country this summer and we spent most of the time in the Rocky Mountains. I got to bark at deer, flowers, trees...and there were so many smells! It was wonderful. I got to spend lots of time with other dogs and it was so much fun. Now I am back in our Boston apartment, which I think is just tiiiiiiiny, and the upstairs dog Nalah has moved out!!!! Mom and Dad and her mom used to leave us together every day last year, and I haven't seen her since I got back two weeks ago. Mom says we have a playdate on Wednesday but I am bummed anyway. I need some Somerville poochies to play with!!!
