Got hurt

I, Jake recently got very badly hurt. I got under my mommy's car while she was backing up and got stuck under there. Thankfully she found out I was under there as soon as she heard me yelp, or she wouldn't have known to stop. But anyways, I was stuck under the car for a while until somebody brought a jack and lifted the car. Then as soon as they got me out I hid under a trailer. I was under there for a while when my Daddy finally found a way to get me out. Then he rushed me to an emergency vet where they gave me sitches and got me better. The only injury I got out of the whole thing was a large cut in my back right leg. It's a miricle that I didn't get badly injured from the whole thing.

Now it's been about a week since the whole thing and today my mommy took me back to the vet to get fluid drains taken out of my cut. I'm going back next thursday to get my stitches out.

I haven't acted any different then normal. This whole thing has about no impact on my personality. The only really bad thing about this is the Elizabethan Collar (a cone type thing around my head). It annoys me very much. I always want to lick my paws and when I bring them up they just hit the collar. It also makes it harder to walk around tight spaces. It always gets cought on things.

So overall I think I will get through this thing and everything will be alright. I hate that is happened, and my Mommy feels horrible about it. But it'll all be ok.

YAY

Recently I started getting really lazy and all I did was itch but now I have taken medications and i am playful as can be. My playing ways aren't the most regular ways but it's really cute when I play. I like to run around in little circles and stomp my feet infront of Cleo. I haven't shown any interest in Roxie though. I used to like to play with her but now i avoid her at all cost. My owners are trying to figure out what is going on. They think that maybe I am jealous of her because everyone always wants to play with her intead of me. I guess running around in circles isn't fun for Cleo. She always runs around with Roxie. They don't understand that I am not in the shape to run like that but my owners know, sometimes they take to other two dogs in so they can throw the ball short distances for me. It' fun!

Getting Better

For the past five years I have had ongoing illnesses from my allergies (that is why i have lost the fur around my eyes and mouth.) I am always taking medicine to relieve my symptoms, but they never making me completely how i used to be. Now, my mommy finally found a vet that thinks she can help me. I am finally going to be me again, hopefully. My mommy is now saving up money so we can afford to get me allergy shots every month, I was on them before but they failed to do what they were suppose to do. :'(

not feeling so well

I've been sick lately. I have been throwing up every where and i have to stay outside so i don't puke outside and it makes my mommy sad to see me sitting outside allday and so she comes outside every once and awhile and sits by me but she can't be with me all day. Thankfully my sister Roxanne has been outside with me, otherwise i would get lonely. I hate being sick. I want to go back inside.
