Mommie made some homemade babones yesterday! She worked very diligently in the kitchen where our Eukanooba's are kept. Teakah and I smelled this wonderous scent that filled every last corner of the house for about 2 hours. (The only reason that I know what an hour is is due to me using them to calculate when I get my Eukanooba's. I won't even wait until 6:00 pm, I usually let her know it's that time about 5 minutes before!) As they began coming out of that hot box, mommie let me and Teakah test a few! They were soooo yummy! Then mommie gave me & Teakah each a small bite of the raw stuff. I spit mine out back onto the floor... I hope I didn't hurt mommie's feelings then. Later, after she was done baking, mommie decided to test her treats up against some store-bought basted ones. Teakah went first, and mommie let her sniff each babone, and Teakah chose the Peanut Butter ones that mommie made (Buttkiss). Then it was my turn. :-( Mommie let me sniff each one, and I chose the basted ones! :-( I hope that didn't hurt mommie's feelings; I heard Daddy remark something about Ella hurting her feelings. Mommie tested her hypothesis on us two more times, and I tested true to my original choice: the basted bones. So did Teak though- she chose peanut butter 3 times. I just wish that Mommie knew that I just like the beefies better than peanut butter in general, and that her bones were delish!
