well, that wasn't good we didn't have a apt. motel or nothing so we went and got a motel room and than started looking for an apt. to rent. we finally found one in Gig Harbor at first I thought it was just a motel room with no furniture and that we would be back in the truck soon.Every day mom would leave me and dad I was sad I wanted to g too but she said I couldn't she always came home but I missed her when she was gone but I was so happy when she would get back Id jump all over her and give her big wet doggy kisses. Finally furniture started arriving which confused me cause I thought this was a temporary thing, but the furniture was so nice I started really liking it there. One day mom come home and said she had quit work ,oh no how were they gonna feed me,well I still ate but things got a little rough there for awhile after what seemed to me a very long time dad said he was well enough to go back to work ( he was off for over a yr) so after looking for awhile for a company that would hire a driver with lifting restrictions dad went to work.
Dad and mom had decided that mom should stay home and dad become a solo driver So for now dad is gone for a long time than comes home for a few days and than leaves again .Okay my little paws are getting writers cramps so
i'm gonna say good-bye for awhile so happy tails to you this is the former trucker dog signing off

Okay I have told you about the Rats in New Jersey the monsters they are every where in the country,my most embarrassing moment when I got my face Shaved To be a good Trucker Dog you must mind your manors no barking at strangers that are just walking by,no biting anyone even if you don't like their smell or the hat they wear, and especially you don't bite after you let the person pet you Learned that the hard way yep I did I bit this guy who was petting me I didn't bite hard didn't even leave a mark I don't know what happened I just all of a sudden decided I didn't want to be petted any more, lost all my toys and the right to have a just because walk only got to go out do my business than back to the truck,I haven't bit any one since didn't like losing my toys or the scolding I got.
I have been traveling around the country for bout 4 yrs when the worst thing that could happened my dad fell off the truck apparently it spit hot water at him and knocked him off the truck ,mom was inside the truck stop and didn't see any of this happen.Dad was hurt oh no nothing I can do but watch dad laying there. He finally was able to get up and went inside to wash off and check the damages he thought he was ok but he tore up something in his shoulder and was told he couldn't drive so mom was left as the only driver. We finally got back to our home terminal in Tacoma Washington and dad was told he was off the truck until he was repaired.............to be continued

Hi guys I'm finally back, didn't think I'd ever get here again.Okay where did I leave off,I was telling you all about my experiences as a trucker dog.Have I told you about the monsters yet, man are they scary.the monsters are huge and make a very load noise like a scream,to describe them I'd have to say they look kinda like a long skinny big truck pulling lots and lots of different kind of trailers the run on two metal things instead of pavement.they scare the heck out of me but I think they aren't monsters at all thats just what my mom and dad tell me so I won't get to close to their road, believe me,I won't.
I have seen rats bigger then me in New Jersey got to chase after them but I kinda forgot dad had a hold of the other end of my leash and I kinda knocked him off his feet and dragged him down the hill,he wasn't real happy with me the rest of the night but I thought it was hilarious. After that incident I developed allergies been suffering ever since. The humiliating thing about it is that when we got home mom took me to the vets and they shaved all my hair off my face,so embarrassing,I looked like a dog out of Star Trek.Every one would look at me and laugh ,I hate that.
Out on the road we get to stay in little apartments ,I think they are called motels now those are fun I get my own large bed and every thing,It doesn't happen often but often enough.Bad side is I have to get a bath don't much like bathes but I do like the hair dryer that feels soooooo good.Dang it I just get on a roll and mom says it's bed time, but she promises I can get back on soon.So Happy tails to you all this is trucker dog signing off.
