Arrival Story:
**My brave boy went to the Rainbow Bridge on June 26, 2004.. it was his time , you will be missed but never forgotten**
Pommy found me at the Vancouver SPCA on Halloween Night in 2002. He was the most pathetic little thing barking at me in a cage, he was suffering from kennel cough and needed a foster home. I brought him home - determined that it would only be for a few weeks, until his kennel cought cleared up. But then i learned his story. He was a neglected little dog in his prior home. It was determined poor Pommy did not have kennel cough after all, but chronic bronchitis, a collapsed trachea, an enlarged heart, serious infections in his liver due to rotten teeth. He underwent surgery and had all but 4 teeth removed , was neutered and had a transtraceal flush. He came back to me almost good as new. But i knew then he had found his forever home. I was told he'd only live a year - well, he's still here. Unfortunately though I'm told he won't make it through the summer, his little heart is just too big for his tiny body. He's a spoiled beast, but he's my baby.
Bio:
Pommy lives with Max (dog) and Willy (cat) - he loves to attak the cat at every opportunity. Despite the cat being 5X the size of Pommy - everyone gets along quite well :)
