Quick Bio:

Likes:
Protecting the back yard from the golfers and rides in the car.

Pet-Peeves:
Don't pet him if you don't know him. Social, he's not. He also hates the heat! You would too if you were constantly wearing a coat!

Favorite Toy:
Snowball is not a "toy" dog. He loves to play pretend "gonna get-cha" with my dad. Dad pretends like he's going to grab his tail, and Snowball watches him thru the corner of his eyes and playfully snapps if Dad gets too close.

Favorite Food:
Snacks, snack, and more snacks! Dog snacks, people snacks and more snacks!

Favorite Walk:
Anywhere! He loves a walk and will even slip his head into the collar so you can take him for a walk.

Best Tricks:
He knows when someone is coming to the door before the doorbell rings. He aslo knows his grandma because when I call "Mom", his ears perk up and he starts looking for his grandma.

Arrival Story:
After loosing my very dear cat, that I had for 15 years, I decided I wanted a dog again. So I put the word out I was looking for a small, black, short haired dog. No more lint rollers for me! Well, I was in a pet store with a puppy in hand when my cousin called saying she had a dog that needed a home to please see him first. OK, so I went home and my cousin brought in the pet carrier with this little long haired white dog. Oh no...then, when she opened the carrier, he took one look at me, put his head down and came and sat in my lap. Oh well, I kept the lint rollers and Snowball adopted me.

Bio:
Snowball had been obviously mistreated by some men in his little life. He had a very intense dislike for men, young and old. It took some coaxing, but he was won over quickly by my husband. He never pays any attention to our cat, Charlotte but my mother was very afraid of him. After a while, though, she came to love him VERY much. He is very much part of the family loved by my dad, mom, niece (who live next door) and all my family that visit. He is still a little grouchy at times, but with a face like that, it's always OK. He just follows mama's lead and is approving of those who I love.

Medication

I kept telling my mom I wasn't feeling well, but sometimes she doesn't quite understand. I wasn't sleeping well at night, constantly panting and I have to admit, I was quite irritable. Anyway, mom took me to the vet and he said I'm too fat and have hypertension. I'm not sure what the last part means, but now I take medication every night. It's not so bad. The pill is really small and it makes me feel much better. Everyone says I'm back to my old self. I play with Boston again, don't snap as much and grandma says I even look better. Mom did put me on some diet food, but it really isn't bad tasting at all. Boston even eats it if I leave any. Then again, Boston eats anything I don't. She better watch it or she'll gain weight and get hypertension, too!

Summer with Grandma

Well, it's summer time and my grandma is on vacation. My grandma lives next door to us and I love it when she's on vacation because that means she's home everyday. That means more rides in my grandma's Mercedes! Her and Jennie get me and my sister, Boston, everyday and we get to go for rides almost every day. If we don't go anywhere, my grandma and I just kick back and relax while Jennie plays with Boston. Boston is still little so she has lots of energy and so does Jennie.
