My First Visit to the Local Dog Park

Well, what can I say? Duffy is fantastic... healthy and just doing beautifully...we take a long walk on an open field...we are out there for 45 minutes...and Duffy runs free off leash...so he gets a great amount of exercise...its awesome to see him run ...I'd swear he has a smile on his face... we get up about 5:15 am....and we are out and in the car going to the field...they (duffy & riley) get soooooo excited... they love it...there is nothing better than seeing the joy you bring to your pups... Duffy is in great shape... he's just doing great... what a love...

I'm a lucky Mommy!

Well, its been a while. But Im doing great! :) No health issues... and just my silly old self... lately at night I've been hunting mice...who like to come out of the field and eat the bird seed...I love hunting mice...and I have caught a few of those little birds that like to feed on the bird seed...it makes mommy sad...but I just can't help myself!

Last week I came up to the back door with a nest in my mouth to show my Mom...I'm not sure if it was some kind of birds nest or a mouse nest...but Mommy was a little grossed out...but I was sooo proud!

Its been hard because my brother Riley has had an injured leg for the past month...so he hasn't moved around much...and has to have another surgery...and Mommy has to carry him everywhere...but I'm trying to be on my best behavior... I've done pretty darn well, I think! :)

So, all in all...I'm doing well...happy to see spring coming...I love to listen to the birdies... and I'll still keep an eye out for those mice or anything else that wants to come into the yard! xoxo Duffy.

Duffy is walking so beautifully... we did an extra long walk last night...and boy was he tired! It was perfect... I don't think, he moved a muscle last night while we slept!

He's such a joy....and he loves his walks...and he doesn't exhibit signs of anxiety...like many Weims do... its so great to have him so well adjusted! (phew and an amen to that!)

So, we've just got to keep up our good work! He's such a joy... and such a well behaved 1 year old!

I know, I'm very lucky!
