My Birthday - I am 3!

Yesterday was my birthday, and I think it was the first time I can even recall having a birthday...it was GRRRReat! My mom brought home a real birthday cake and it had a glowing thing on top of it, that was strange....and I stuck my nose on the white snowy looking stuff that covered the cake...it was sweet and strange tasting...but I really liked it....then we had to have pictures taken, I hate picture taking time....that flash really messes with me. But the bestest part of all....a new bone! yipee....a great new treasure to add to my basket of treasures and something my mom can step on in the middle of the night because I leave them all over the place....but she loves me, I know she does because she bought me another GRRRReat bone....I love her too for giving me a warm, snuggly bed to sleep in too!

Still waiting for a new brother or sister...

Well, it has been awhile since I've been back to my 'home' page and I have to speak up...hey, what about that brother or sister you were thinking about? I know my mom has had a ruff time...we moved a few months ago, into this new place that is much smaller and she's always telling me 'shhhhuushhh' when I start to bark (and I bark at everything!) but I have settled in...and the best part about this new home, we now live where we get to walk all the time...we walk in the morning, in the afternoon, at dark....I LOVE IT! I get so much exercise and best of all, I see so many other pups and I get to bark at them and their people too...sometimes I even get to meet the other pups....I love going outside even in the winter. Sometimes the weather is too cold, because I refuse to wear a sweater, no siree...not for me...and sometimes the salt truck puts too much salt on the road and that hurts my paws...and my mom has to pick me up and carry me home...that isn't very much fun. I do have a lot of fun and I love all the special time I share with my mom, sitting in the big chair snuggled in the blanket, sleeping on my enormous bed (mom's bed) and having all the attention all the time... but I wonder if I will have a brother or sister to play with? I love to play and run and chew and chew! Spring is coming, maybe she's waiting until then....hmmmmm? More peanut butter please!!! :)
