Arrival Story:
Ernie was adopted from Almost Home Animal Rescue in Michigan. They were calling him Hunter. We fell in love with his picture on petfinder.com. We went to meet him at one of their adoption events and took him home on October 8, 2005. The rescue group had pulled him from a kill shelter in rural Ohio, but because of lack of foster homes, had him in a kennel since the previous July. He was not neutered when we got him, not housebroken. Both of those things happened soon after his adoption and now he is just the goofiest, most enthusiastic and happy guy around. He loves everybody; canine, feline and human (and we love him, too).
Bio:
: His favorite thing is going for a run at the park with his sister Metta and his dogdad. He starts campaigning the minute we get up because he can sense it is one of those special days. Sometimes when we come home, he doesn’t want to get out of the car -- why not go back now?

I had to cross the bridge last night and my pawrents are devastated. They just found out I was had a really bad cancer three days ago, then I only lived two more. My mom can't stop crying, I wish I didn't have to go.

1. The day I met my peeps, I burst out of my prison 100mph, squealiing and barking, then ran over and sat in front of them. (I was adopted immediately.)
2. I love, love, love to be outside, but will graciously come in the house when asked (like when my peeps need my affection).
