It's been awhile since I wrote in my diary. Nearly a year. We have a very busy life. I no longer have stomach problems because I went to the Vet and she said I have allergies. I'm now eating Hills W/D (and I love it!) and I've gained weight and feel terrific!! I like my Vet very much. She's very good to me. (We went to about 4 Vets before we found one that was nice to me or seemed to care) I was put on antibiotics and probiotics for 3 weeks last year and the prescription dog food and now I'm doing really well. My most favorite thing to do in the whole world is to wrestle Cooper. I always let him win or he won't play with me. I like Cooper very much. He's one good guy and my best friend. Everyone is talking about the Hurricane and what to do. My concern is, we live in Wisconsin and what do we do in the Winter when there's lots of snow and ice and the furnace goes out or the car won't start or there's too much snow and ice to get to the store and the temperature gets down to -20 or more? Does anyone care about that?? Hugs to everyone...
Cooper and I started eating Urban Wolf from Canada. I was having some intestinal problems (diarrhea) and several breeders recommended we try this. We LOVE it! It's delicious. It looks like it would be expensive but in the long run it really isn't... AND... we're lucky because we know several hunters who give us venison, duck and partridge. I can't eat raw for the time being. Maybe I'll be able to again one day, but for now, the meat is cooked and put through the food processor. Patti says it's a small amount of work for such wonderful dogs as Cooper and I are.
