Arrival Story:
I begged my parents to get me a dog for years, so when i was 12 my parents told me if I could get up every morning and walk down the street pretending to walk a dog for a month i could have one. So after that month was over we started to look for dogs. it took us about 2 months and we went into a kennel to look at another dog and saw her. she was a year and a half year old Black lab/ german shepard mix and she weighed 30 pounds. The people at the shelter said she had just arrived the day before. we bought her and 5 days later she came to live with us. It has now been 4 years and she's my best friend.

Spanky, You were there for me when I was down and needed someone to comfort me, you have been there through my teen years and helped me feel good about myself and everyone else. I love you with all my heart and you will always be my favorite dog.
