My human brother is coming home from that place called college tomorrow! I'm so happy I can't contain myself. I can't wait to sleep with him and sit on the floor next to the couch so I can beat my brother, Chester, to all the goodies that get dropped on the floor.

I love Chicken Rock

My eejit of a brother got to go to school with mom on Halloween. She dressed up as Cruella DeVil, and Chester went as a Dalmatian disguised as a Blue Tick Coon/Bassett Hound. I didn't go because I'm already smart and don't need to go to school. Chester on the other hand...

So, I got to stay with my dad, and we went to Chicken Rock at the Puppy Park and ate fried chicken and played in the water. We call it Chicken Rock because it's a big rock where we get to eat fried chicken. There was another dog at Chicken Rock that day who wanted my dad to share his fried chicken, but I didn't like that, so I circled the wagons and scared the chicken bully off. More chicken for me.

I didn't even miss my stupid brother, Chester. Really.

Sad day...

My human brother is leaving for college tomorrow. I'm gonna miss the tall, skinny kid. He's always good for some Cap'n Crunch or a Cheddar Goldfish or two. I'm gonna miss being called Barnabeans...When is Thanksgiving? It seems like forever away.

I'm so excited. I just found out from mamma dog that me and my brother are going to be in a movie. Well, sort of. We are going to be in the credits of a movie anyway. Does this mean we have to join the Screen Actors' Guild? Do you think they'll pay me in bones? Gotta go call my acting coach...

Life's Good

Boy is it hot here in Connecticut. My brother Chester and I talked Mom and Dad into a car ride yesterday. Car rides almost always end up at our favorite place, the puppy park (when they don't end up at our least favorite place, the vet's office). We were so excited we drooled all over the back seat. My brother managed to keep his breakfast in his stomach, which isn't always the case with him on a car ride. When we got to the puppy park, we headed straight for the stream and jumped in. Boy, did that feel good. Then we pee'd on dozens of trees just to let all our friends know we had been there. We also did a meet and greet along the trails and made some new friends. It was the perfect way to spend a hot afternoon. When we got home, Dad grilled steak, and we got to be the official taste testers. Life's good!
