Snow, snow go away....

This winter has been really rough. In December we got a record breaking 61.5 inches of snow. Mom normally lets us out of our schnauzer paddock and lets us run around in the BIG yard but now we can't. See my latest photo and you will see that we can't even get out of our gate.

Today I found out I don't have cancer!!

On Monday 12/8/08 I went in for surgery. In May my MOM noticed a bump by my shoulder blade. Within 6 months that bump tripled in size and started creeping down my rib cage. My Mom took me to the vet on 12/3 and they told her that even though they could only find fat cells when they aspirated my bump they thought that it was cancer because it was so aggressive. My Mom was very sad. She kept snuggling me and crying. She stayed by my side all weekend and I heard her ask Daddy, "How do you fit a whole life time into 2 short days?"
My surgery on Monday went really well. The Vet was able to get the whole tumor. It was huge! He said it was encased in some sort of onion skin and that was good because if it was cancer then it wouldn't have spread. Monday night was rough!! I cried and cried. Mommy gave me my pain pills but I still shook and cried. Tuesday was better, Mommy stayed home with me. We slept alot. Wednesday I felt better yet. Mom stayed home with me again and I even tried to play with Skipper.
Today though Mom got the call from the vet - He said that my lump was 100% benign and that I did NOT HAVE CANCER!! Yeah! Mom was so happy she cried, again.
