I'm THREE now!

Hi, everybody! Last week was a fun time ... My little sister and I had a birthday party on 8/25, since she turned one on 8/19, and I turned three on 8/29. Mommy decided to call it a "Lu-howl Barkday Pawty" and we invited our friends from our play groups. There were about 26 of us toy doggies there -- and we dressed up in flower leis, tropical shirts and hula outfits (the girls, of course!). We had a tasty doggie cake made with PB and bananas ... and we got a lot of presents from our nice friends. Mommy said it was fun, but not to get too used to it ... she said a party every year is a lot of work! But we get spoiled and treated special every day, anyway, so we're OK with that.:-) On my actual birthday, Mommy took Mimi and me to get our nails cut, then we went to the park before it got too hot outside. Later, I got presents from Mommy and Grandma (including a shirt that says "Mama's Boy" ... hey -- what does she mean by THAT??!!). I played with my new toys, and I also got to have some more of my birthday cake. Let's put it this way -- you'll pardon the expression ... my life doesn't suck ... LOL!

Wow ... a busy summer so far!

Man, I've been so busy with play dates and stuff, I haven't had time to blog! I hate when that happens ... LOL! Went to a fun 'people' BBQ a couple weeks ago, but we doggies had two swimming pools to romp in. That was fun, 'cause it was reeallllyyy hot that day. This weekend my sister, Mimi LaBelle, and I are going to a doggie fair with games, treats AND birthday cake, 'cause it's our friends' Misu and Marley's birthdays. YUM!

The holidays are here ... So much activity!

I'm still trying to figure out what this "Christmas" stuff is, but Mama took me to a party with my doggie friends and we exchanged presents! I got some fun stuff from Baxter in a red & white stocking that Mama's hiding from me until Christmas Day. :-)

Now yesterday, while I was out with my Grandma, my Mom brought home this new little white fuzzy thing. Don't know what she is, but she sure moves around a lot! I sniffed her and ran around with her a little bit, but I'm still not sure if I like her. Mom says she's a "Maltese" and she keeps calling her "Mimi."

I'll have to get back to you on how this whole deal goes ... If I decide I like her, maybe I'll let her stay. But she better get her own chewies, 'cause if she thinks she can eat mine, I'm not havin' it!

Whew! What a weekend!

Boy, I had what Mama calls a "social calendar" this weekend. On Saturday morning, I got to go to the big park again and play with some more new doggies. That afternoon, I went to my first doggie party. (Mama had one for me on my first birthday, but I was the ONLY doggie in attendance ... I had to work on my manners some more!) Keoki's mom had a party for his first birthday, and we got lots of treats. I brought him a gift, and then I LEFT with gifts! :-)

On Sunday, I had another doggie play date. Keoki came, and we met a 3-month-old Chihuahua named Bella. She was fun, and Keoki kept trying to kiss her ... LOL!

(Yawn) ... Now I need a nap. :-) Have a fun week, everybody!

I'm Two Now!

All day long on Tuesday, August 29th, my Mom kept telling me -- in an excited, high-pitched voice -- "it's your birthday!" I didn't really know what that meant, but I DID get some new toys and some extra-special new treats! She and my Grandma took me to the park to play.

I think that's why I also got taken to that place where they wet you up, put some bubbly stuff on you and cut off your hair! I don't know who she was, but the lady was nice and kinda cute, and I gave her a lot of kisses. She didn't seem to mind. :-)

Hey, this "birthday" stuff isn't so bad! I wonder when it'll happen again???

My First Outdoor Playdate!

My mom and Grandma took me to a big park yesterday, where they had a closed-in section just for us little guys (and girls) to play in! It was crazy hot out there, but I had soooo much fun, romping and playing with my new friends (Scarlett, Mocha, Juliet and J.J.). I had to drink a lot of water because I was panting a lot! After about 45 minutes, Mama decided I'd had enough, for my first time. I'm looking forward to doing that again real soon! :-)

P.S. -- I think Juliet (who's a Yorkie) has a crush on me. She IS very cute! :-)

Another Hot Sunday ...

Mama's trying to stick to my schedule, but it's hot out, so we go for walks every 3-4 hours ... and I try to make "it" quick! I'm no dummy, though ... I know how to walk in the shade. Today was also bath day, but it's been so hot that it felt really good. Mama took my picture when I jumped up on her bed and rubbed my head on her comforter. When I come to a stop, she says I look like Donald Trump -- whoever that is! On my last walk this evening, I saw my "human" girlfriend, Dina, and gave her lots of kisses! She says I look just like her Silky, Bentley. He lives far away, so I've never met him. I also played with Colby, the cocker spaniel. He's much older than me, so he's kinda mellow, but I like him, anyway. :-) Mama just gave me one of my favorite biscuits ... and we're gonna lay on the bed and see what's on TV tonight.
