Best Tricks:
Jumping up on the bed. Also, I love to do my special dance after I pee! I paw the ground with my front legs while I keep one of my back legs up in the air!! Ballerinas are my heroes.
Arrival Story:
One day my human David and his daughter Jacqueline were shopping at Wal-Mart. Out in front were a bunch of dogs (including me!) from the Oakland SPCA. I wasn't love at first sight however, it wasn't until the next day when my humans David, Jacqueline and Bill saw me and played with me. Then they knew that I was the dog for them!! (I was the shelter's Dog of the Day on that particular day!) My humans took me home ane I have been loved and pampered by them ever since. My human Jacqueline changed my name to Smokey. She named me after a character named Smokey Lonesome in her favorite movie, Fried Green Tomatoes. I guess it fits since I have charcoal colored fur.

Gee, I don't remember anything about what happened to me before I got to the shelter. But, I've been with my humans David and Bill for 5 years now. How the time does fly!!
