Arrival Story:
I just adopted Amos from a local from a local rescue. He was found abandoned in a trailer in New Mexico with 30 other Chihuahuas. No food. No water. Several dead dogs. He had never been around people. He's spent the past year with foster moms who nursed him through a recovery from heartworm. He won't let me touch him and he's really skittish, but he will eat treats from my hand if I'm carefully. We're looking forward to being very careful with him and getting him used to humans.
