My Super-Exciting-Hyper-Crazy Life!!

Woof! It's been a while....

Hi everyone! It's been months since I've jotted down some of my thoughts. So I guess HAPPY NEW YEAR is in order, eh?? :)

Let's see.... Lots has happened since November, really. My mom and dad went on vacation for a while and I got to stay with two really nice people up at Grandma and Grandpa's with Snoopy and Lucky while all of them were gone. We missed our people, but Erica and Jacob were certainly fun stand-in's!!

The biggest news, in my opinion, has been the arrival of Roxie. She's my new little sister. At first, I have to say I didn't really know what to make of her. She was really tiny and wouldn't leave me alone for more than 2 seconds. But she's been here a little over a month now and she's gotten a little bigger. I've been having a blast playing with her, and since she's still sleeping in her crate, I still get Mom and Dad all to myself in the big bed! YAY! We go on walks together, play in the backyard (and much to Mom's dismay, also in the living room), lay on the couch together and nap.... All kinds of fun stuff. I really like having her around. She still follows me around EVERYWHERE, but I think it's just cause I'm her big brother and she loves me. I'll have to keep setting a good example like I've been doing. Mom and Dad tell me I'm such a good boy... I wouldn't want to ruin that excellent reputation ;)

It's been soooooo cold outside here in Michigan. Ugh!! I don't really even like to go out too much. Luckily, it's nice and warm in our house. I'm a pretty content guy to just hang out inside and play with my toys. Low maintenance -- that's me!

Anyway, Mom just called to Roxie and told her it was time to go potty, so that's my cue to head out and show her how it's done. I hope everyone is doing really well, and is happy and content as can be! Take care and until I bark at ya next time..... Peace :)

Another day in the life.... :)

Wow! It's been a long time since my last entry. Not a whole lot has been happening, but I just figured I'd update my following :)

My mom and dad were curious about what exactly I may be, so they had something called a "DNA test" done on me. It wasn't too bad at all. Just a little blood draw (but Mommy works at a Vet Hospital, so one of her co-workers took really good care of me the whole time), then my "DNA" was off to a lab somewhere so they could figure out what I am. I don't know much about it, but it sounds like Mommy and Daddy are a little skeptical on how effective that little test was. As you can tell by my picture, I'm a pretty big guy, but not solid like my little brother was. (Mommy says I'm "pretty", which I have to say I'm not fond of... but whatever! :oP) Anyway, my results came back and it said I'm part Pit, part Chow, part Rott and part BICHON. Yes, that's right. Bichon Frise. Now I'm just a spittin image, dontcha think?!?! Me thinks we got duped....

On to more fun topics: I'm going to be going on vacation soon! Actually, Mom and Dad are REALLY going on vacation, but when they go away, I'm going to stay with my Aunts Lucky and Snoopy at Grandma and Grandpa's house. It should be a really nice time, 'cause I love it at their place. Lots of chipmunks and squirrels, and sometimes I even get the girls to run around the yard with me. :) I'll be really excited to have my mommy and daddy home, but I know we'll all have a good time while the humans are off cruising the Carribean :)

Anyway, I guess that's about it from me for now. I hope everyone is having a great Fall. Around my neck of the woods, the weather is starting to cool off, but I LOVE it!! Lots of sunny days so far, and it makes for wonderful walks in the morning!

Rain, Rain, Go AWAY!!

*sigh*.... I think we're going to float away soon :(

It's been raining here for a day and a half now and it doesn't look much like there's an end in sight! I miss going for walks, but whenever Mom tries to put my parka on me, I just kind of stand there and look at her like I'm completely traumatized, so it's just easier to stay dry and warm inside. But it sure is boring in here!! Mom's tried to engage me in a game of fetch, but that doesn't do much for me today. I've been doing a whole lot of napping since yesterday, so BOY-OH-BOY how excited I'll be to get back out there walking again!! Luckily Mom isn't working tomorrow or Wednesday, so just in case it stops raining, she'll be around to get me out there ASAP! :)

Not much else to report for now.... I hope it's nice and dry where ever you are, my fine puppy pals!! I'll post a little more later on! Keeping my paws crossed for sunshine soon......
