Beach day!

I got to go for my first walk of the season at Willow's beach today. It was really cool. It's been pretty stormy lately so the whole beach was covered in old seaweed right up to the stairs. I love to smell it. I saw two of the other brussels griffons I know in town there too. Ben and Molly. I think they even remembered me and I got to play a bit. Then I got to run and chase crows. The lady said she's proud that I'm doing so well off leash. After about an hour the lady said we had to go. I got sad. I made crying noises and then when she put me in the car I barked at her because I was mad I had to leave.
Oh well. The lady says I get to eat turkey tomorrow. That can't be too bad.

Dog Days of Summer

I discovered the best new toy this week. It's called a hose. The lady or the man squeezes a weird gun and water shoots out. This is the COOLEST thing EVER. Sometimes the water stops and they put the gun down on the ground. Then I cry and dig at it. It gives me drinks and I can chase it. I like getting wet!

I even got to go in a kiddie pool this week. At first I wasn't sure because the bottom felt funny, but then me and my people played some games and I decided I liked it. I still have trouble getting in though. They need to build me a ramp!

Today me and the lady built something called an adirondack chair. I don't know what an adirondack is, but it's a pretty cool looking chair! We just need to put the arms on and the lady says we will stain it a nice mahogany. I like when I get to do projects with the lady. She builds and I keep watch for bad guys and squirrels who might ruin our fun. Hope all you pups out there are having as good a summer as I am!

My 1st Birthday!

Well, I sure did have a good birthday! I got to go to work with the lady and we walked all over town looking for a special chair for one of her clients. Everywhere we went people gave me pats and hellos.
The lady and the man bought me a special raincoat because I hate to go for walks in the rain. The lady says I turn into a rock of unmoving Brussels Griffon. I like my new coat. It's red. My grandpa said now I will be little red riding hood. He bought me a stuffed frog named Prince. I played and played and played with him, and then he made a good pillow to sleep on.
I also got lots of treats to eat and two whole doggie cupcakes. I ate the icing first. I couldn't help myself. Then the man named Pete and the lady named Em were at home and we played too. It was such a good day.

And guess what! When we were out the lady met another lady who owns my sister! I might get to meet her and play together, I'm SO excited!
