 Quick Bio:
 Likes: Snuggling, kisses, treats, napping

Pet-Peeves: Walking in the rain/cold and taking a bath!

Favorite Toy: Squeaky Bear and his kong filled with treats and peanut butter

Favorite Food: KONGS! and treats, of course! Plus he loves to eat fruit (apples, berries, nuts etc.) that have dropped from trees and searches for these when we are on a walk.

Favorite Walk: Around the lake to check out the deer and bunnies, he also enjoys a 2-3 mile run a few days a week

Best Tricks: He has mastered sitting and fetching but our favorites are when he jumps high enough to catch and when he walks on his back leggs (usually 5 to 10 steps) t o investigate something.

Arrival Story: We found Skippy listed in the paper and went to visit. We could not leave him behind... he was so sweet standing on his back leggs begging for attention. He was so emaciated we thought he was sick but after a few weeks at our house his weight was normal for his size. Skippy did not have a good home life before we rescued him. We thought he was just dirty when we brought him home but after a bath we realized he had scabs on his backside shaped like bites... every time we see a dog bigger than him he barks like crazy and growls if they get too close... We don't socialize with many other dogs but Skippy loves people!

Bio: Skippy is an energetic and fun-loving puppy. When he is not playing… his favorite way to pass time is cuddling up on your lap for a nap. Skippy loves to go for rides in our Jeep and will sit on the console between the two front seats. He is always ready for an adventure and hates to be left behind!

You - our little bundle of energy - overwhelm us with your endless love. We can't remember what our days were like without your companionship. You constantly entertain us, comfort us, snuggle us, and get us moving! We can't explain all the love we have for you! We will treasure you for as long as we are blessed to have you in our lives. This is a special Tail of Devotion

Oh happy days.... the sun is out again! I did not like all the snow this winter but now I am a happy doggie - the sun is out - the sun is out! My mommy has left the screen door open a lot lately so I can go out on the deck anytime! It is now my favorite place to nap. My mom even put my special cushion outside so I could really be comfortable. I am so sleepy I think it is time to absorb some more rays.... yyyaaawwwwnnnnnn.

There is something new at our house... it is tall and pricky but has pretty things that shine all over it. It looks like something I often pee on outside but when I sniffed it but it did not smell the same. So I guess I'm not supposed to pee here. My mom has been watching me a lot lately. When I sniff the tree she says "no!" and then tells me I'm a "good boy" when I walk away. I was thinking about sneaking a taste of this pricky thing but I don't want to make my mom mad. I wonder where I left my bone...
