Arrival Story:
Rory was my first dog. I wanted a dog because I was finally in a house of my own and could have one. We went to our local shelter to have a look and there was a mini beagle there that we looked at...I noticed this other bigger beagle in the cage beside her, but thought this one might be better because it's smaller... Well, she could've cared less about us when we took her for a walk, as beagles usually are this way :) We brought her back and this other beagle kept catching my eye...when I passed by his cage he was leaning up against it and looking right at me...I heard him say "please look at me and take me", I could not for the life of me had ignored this feeling I got...so we asked to take him for a walk and he pulled a bit, but would keep looking back at me while we walked, I thought this was unusual behavior, but so endearing... We went home and he was all I could think about, I couldn't even sleep, I just wanted him there right then! So the next day I went straight to the shelter and adopted him!

Bio:
Rory was the biggest joy for me! We had so much fun walking him and teaching him tricks, or trying to anyway, lol :) We had him for 7 years, he was about 5 when we got him... He is at Rainbow Bridge now waiting for me, but having lots of wagging tail fun! He will always and forever be remebered in my heart.....
