My fiance and I decided we'd get a dog together. We were originally going to buy a purebred Beagle or Bassethound, but decided to go to the Animal Control Office and see if we could perhaps SAVE a pup. We did find a puppy we were interested in. When we were calling him to the front of the cage to pet him he reached out to us (extending his front paws)... We've loved him ever since!
Bio:
Our little Jonsie is like a child to us. He has been through so much in his life with the ringworm, ticks, and mange he picked up at the pound... we thought for sure along the way we might lose him due to poor upbringing. He has truly been a blessing for us! He's great fun and is always looking for doggie pals!!

Two weeks ago today, Jonsie passed on to a better place. I can only hope he knows how much we miss and love him! It's so hard to be dogless now. We're going to get him the sister we always told him about next month, or the one to follow. Right now, we're grieving... I wish so much he could be here to run and play with her. Jonsie, You will forever be loved and missed. We'll see ya on that big fluffy pillow in the sky, someday.

It's the day after my 2nd birthday and boy was it fun!! My momma and poppa got me lots of toys and treats yesterday.... I went wild with them allll evening!! They gave me this incredibly amusing ball that if I turn it just right, out pop some treats! Boy do I love that part! Off for my afternoon nap. Later Gators
