New Picture

Mama's cleaning up her pictures and found a new one of me. I hardly ever pose for pictures because I don't like the flashy thing.

Here's what I do all day:

1. Get up and chase all the cats out of the bedroom.
2. Go outside and am a good dog
3. Get a treat
4. Sleep beside Daddy in his chair or on our floor pillow
5. Beg for part of Mama's lunch
5. Go outside and am a good dog - get a treat
6. Sleep some more beside Daddy or on our floor pillow
7. Beg for part of Mama's supper
8. Eat dog food because I didn't get any
9. Attack Sophie and wrestle and chase her.
10. Sleep some more beside Daddy or on our floor pillow
11. Go outside and am a good dog - get a treat
12. Go to BED and snuggle by Mama all night long.

During all of this if anybody comes to the door I bark and bark and have Sophie run to the door to see if they need to be chased off. I'm not brave, but she is! She runs right out to the front door.

And if Mama and Daddy go outside the house, we get treats for being good while they were gone too!

Oh and Sophie isn't completely housebroken (it takes Shih Tzus a long time) so if she uses her pad, I get a treat too! Not a bad deal huh?

Grandma!!!!

Sophie and Mama and Daddy went to see Grandma over Christmas and we had a LOT of fun!

And I got a new red sweater since I had to get a haircut before we drove north. I really like the sweater although I don't need it a lot here in Texas.

Sophie and I also got pretty pink harnesses and leashes for Christmas too so we can look like girls!

I sat right by Aunt Julie a lot because I really love her, and Sophie and I wrestled under the tree, and then we would jump up on Grandpa and attack him! And they have the best couch - it's my favorite furniture in the whole world.

And we also got some new bones to chew, which we always like. And, of course, some real turkey!

It was a good holiday and a fun trip. We just now got rested up.

Maybe Cats Are OK....

Hello, my name is Emma and I chase cats. I can't help it - they NEED to be chased. They taunt me.

Well Murray II started chasing Sophie so I figure I have every right to chase him back. But Mama said I can go break up a real cat fight, but that's the ONLY time.

But yesterday I was sitting by Daddy, which is what I love to do, and Allie, the new CAT started kneading my back. It felt pretty good! Maybe I should only chase male cats, because Phoebe is my doggie Mama. I still chase her sometimes, but she's really nice.

OK, my New Year's resolution is that I will only chase male cats from now on and only when Mama can't catch me....
