Favorite Food: Carrots, popcorn, pizza crust, apple pie, milkbones, just food in general... or anything he can pick up off the ground outside before Mom or Dad can catch him
Favorite Walk: The dog park... he isn't much a walker... but he loves to run.
Best Tricks: Sit, Shake, High Five, Come, Heel, Lay Down, and he hits his nose on the doorknob to potty
Arrival Story: We discovered him online at the Iowa Golden Retriever Rescue, www.igrr.net, and he was just what we were looking for. He was smart, young, energetic, and happy. He loved attention and was cuddly. He also got along really well with our Goldendoodle, Denali, which was super important to us.
Bio: Duece was a puppymill rescue out of Missouri. His foster family named him Einstein because he has bad hair(it is frizzy and sticks up all over his head) and he is really smart. We added him to our family on 07/24/06 and he slept all through the night his first night home and ever since. He sleeps at the foot of the bed every night with one paw always touching someone. He loves the dog park, Denali, and life in general. He is always wagging his tail and always happy no matter what.

I've Been On Dogster Since:
I heart summer. It is the best time of year... besides winter cuz I love snow, and fall cuz I love chasing leaves, and spring cuz everything is muddy. I just love life.
Well I am back from summer vacation. I have grown up a lot this summer. I now get to sleep with Mom and Dad outside my house every night!! Sometimes they wake up and I am laying between them with my head on the pillow. They like that surprise. I spent a lot of time travelling this summer. It was fun. I love the car. I also love my doggie pool. I spent a lot of time in that too splashing around and making a mess. Grandma had to put a new gate on her garden cuz Denali and I eat all her beans. I learned how to open the gate though, so they had to double latch it. I ma working on it, but havent quite figured it out yet.
As summer ends I am ready for snow. There was the first frost a yesterday morning. I tried to dig in it... it isnt snow so I was disappointed. Not much longer now though!!!
On March 18th I turned 1. I had a birthday party complete with cake and presents. As you can see from my pictures I really liked my cake. I did get a little frosting stuck on my nose that my tongue couldn't quite reach. I love birthdays. Denali's is in 2 weeks so we get to have another party!! We are going to invite the boys over too: Harper, Chase, and Ollie. It is going to be a crazy, good time.
Well my Christmas was outstanding! I got a HUGE new bone, a ton of treats in my stocking (which I opened all by myself), and a lot of play time. Plus, Denali was right... the food is wonderful. I really like spaghetti and turkey. Also, since I last wrote Denali and I went on vacation to Minnesota for two weeks. I stayed with my Great-Grandma. I love her. She and I woke up every morning and I got to roll in the snow. Then I would come in and we would eat toast and jelly in the kitchen. Then it was back outside to dig and play. After than I came in and I slept by her feet while she was knitting. That knitting thing is pretty cool... I chased the string around and Grandma called me a kitty. Not sure what that was all about because I am 100% dog... but I guess part duck (says Grandpaw) and part kitty too now. Anyway, I had a blast. I am so tired from all this vacationing that I need a nap. Buh-bye!
