Today I found out I have Boxer Cardiomyopothy. I thought it was going to be one of my usual fun trips to the vet (I LOVE the vet!!), but then mom started crying and I knew something wasn't right. She told me that I have an irregular heart rhythm and that it could lead to me fainting because I'm not getting enough blood to my organs and brain. Luckily that hasn't happened yet. Mom is upset, but she's glad she knows what is going on. They started me on medicine which might be able to help delay some of the effects. But, I keep telling mom I have lived a long happy life and that things like this happen. I am still one happy Boxer!

Oh Abe I am so sorry to hear this. Please take your medicine like your Mom tells you to and be well. You are such a special pal to me and I don't want anything to happen to you my friend. I am glad you are on happy boxer and if I must say a very HANDSOME one too!!! Forgive me.. I like to flirt sometimes :O) Seriously though please take care and let your mom pamper you some.. I mean ALOT!!! You are special to me.

Dear handsome Abe, so sorry about the lousy outcome of the doc visit. Take the new rules seriously bud, and you"ll probaly outlast us all. You look very healthy & well taken care of "at the starting gate" so I think you'll do well . Take care buddy!
