A Day in the Life of Lady Jablonski

My Sore Paw

Today when I woke up, my left front paw was really bothering me. I was licking it and licking it and then my mom and dad decided to take me to the vet. There were so many scents at the doctor's office. I loved sniffing around to discover what kinds of animals were there earlier. I went in with my mom and dad and we saw the doctor. First he shaved down the fur on my paw so he could take a closer look. He told my mom and dad that it was a benign subcutaneous tumor. Then, the nurse had to take me in the back and my mom and dad had to leave. I was so sad and I started crying when they separated me from my mommy and daddy. Then, I remember getting very sleepy and falling asleep. When I woke up, I had this annoying cone on my head! I didn't mind too much because then my mom and dad came to pick me up. I was so happy to see them. My paw is already feeling better! I am going to rest tonight because I'm still a little woozy from the medicine. I hope I get this silly cone off my head soon. How embarrassing!

A Brother or Sister to Be?

Wow! Today was my mom's 20th birthday and boy was it fun! I woke up this morning, or should I say this afternoon, and greeted my mom and dad with a new stuffed toy in my mouth. She just loves it when I bring her my toys in the morning. I can't believe she is twenty years old already.
For the majority of the day, I lounged around the house, avoiding the heat as much as I could. My mom was in a really good mood thoughout the day because she received a diamond necklace from my very thoughtful father.
The best part of the day was when I found out that my mom and dad stopped at the pet store to look for a potential brother or sister for me. I usually do not get along with other dogs but I just love the idea of having my own brother or sister. Even though my mom and dad opted not to have a baby, I am really excited about the idea of having a sibling. Who knows what the future has in store for me!
