Truck, Bush, Firefighter, and My Last Goodbyes

Dear Doggy Diary and all of my Doggy Pals,
I've had a wonderful life, but I'm afraid tonight it will end.
You see, this morning, when Grandpa was going out to work, he backed into me with his truck. I always lay under the truck for shade, but he never checked. I hurt my leg but was okay.
Then, I went under this bush that I always lay under, it's nice and cool in there. But I went deeper under the bush than usual. Then I started crying, snorting, and screeching. Aunt Madi and Grandma were really worried.
They tried to get me out, but nobody was there to help them, since I was too heavy for them to lift out by themselves.
Grandpa was at work about an hour away, and Dad was at work, and he couldn't get off work. Nobody could help them, so Grandma called the Fire Department. They said no, but then we got to talk to the cheif and he said he had once had a dog, so he came.
They got me out, and now I'm inside. Sometimes I start to cry. But the vet phoned. He's coming over tonight, and he is going to send me on a trip to the Rainbow Bridge.
Goodbye, and thank you to everybody and everypup that has made my life so special. Thank you.
C.J.

Dear Doggy Diary and all of my Dogster Pals,
I might not be writing in my diary anymore. Actually, I might not be doing anything anymore. Aunt Madi will still be me on Dogster, but I won't be here.
You see, I started running away. Everybody is worried now. Now, I am not eating. Dad has to tie me up...I've never been tied up before! Dad is going to phone the vet and see if he recommends getting me put down. I am so sad about it..but I am suffering, so it's probably the best thing to do. I'll keep you updated, and I'll try to write once more before I go!

Dear Doggy Diary,
I am very scared. First of all, I've been going down the road to someone's garbage and eating broccoli and buns and stuff.
I went there late last night, but I can barely see at all anymore, but when I got there, it was thundering and lightning, and I couldn't figure out where I was. I was there all night and all morning. Finally, Madi, Al, and Grandma found me ther,e on their driveway, and brought me home.
Glad I'm back!

C.J...
To tell the truth, when I was little, I never liked you. You were always the big smelly dog. I was mean to you.
But now, I've grown to notjust like you, but adore you, C.J., just as I do my own little poopy Al.
I really hope you start feeling better soon. I know it must be hard hearing every single person who walks by say, "Oh, poor doggy."
I know it must be hard not smelling, hearing, or seeing what you used to all the time.
If your time has come to leave us, please do not suffer, and remember, we all ♥LOVE♥ you very, very much!

Your,
Aunt Madison Speaking as all of the WORLD

Dear Dogster Pals,
Christmas had a miracle in store for me after all.
All the Christmas week, I was HORRIBLE. I wouldn't eat, I just slept, and I was really not doing good at all. So, I was just hoping to see my Dad one more time. On Christmas day, when Dad came over, I was perfect, PERFECT. Nobody knows why, but I've stayed like this. Maybe I do have a chance after all...

Dear Doggy Diary,
Well, it's official now, I'm blind and deaf, and I'm always very sleepy. I always come into the house for everything now, but I never used to.
You see, when I was a puppy, I was the most naughtiest of them all! We lived in Brooklin, which is right next to where I live now, Whitby, and I was so bad! It used to be a HUGE feild when Grandma, Grandpa, Daddy and Uncle Dallas had moved there from Oshawa. Soon, Daddy had gotten me, and it all started.
"Hello, we have your dog...C.J., right? She was at our house." was the only thing my family heard when they picked up the phone. I would go EVERYWHERE and the WHOLE town knew who I was! When I would go for a walk and see somebody, they would point to me and say, "Hey, look! It's that C.J. dog, again!"
Once, I went to somebody's house, who had a pool. I was walking and walking and "POP!" Wait a second I was standing on...BUBBLE WRAP! I was on top of their pool! I was crying, I couldn't walk off! The people who lived there phoned my famil and I was picked up instantly. Then, when Aunt Madison was about, well, let's just say five, she and Grandma took me to the local conveince store. They tied me up outside, and went in.
They came back out to find...no me! Some dumb old teenagers had stolen me-and took me to the middle of a highway! They put me in the middle, and called me from side to side, cars whizzing by. Soon, my family had rescued me, and those teenagers had gotten into big trouble!
Then I learned to stay on our own property. Nobody knows me now, but that's ok! At least I'm safe! I'm ALWAYS outside, and never leave home. Probably because this house had seven acres of woods and field, and a creek! But lately, I've been inside.

So, please do me and my family a big favor. Please send us your prayers. Also, please send our friend Ceilidh your prayers too, she might have to get put down. Please pray for here and her family, they've already lost a ton of cats and their old dog, Fergus.
Thanks for everything,
C.J.

Hello, again.
Today I will not be telling a story, but simply using this as a diary. Sort of to tell about whats going on in my life.

Mackenzie, is my Aunt Madison's best friend. She's nice, and cares about me, like Grandma, Grandpa (Steve), Uncle Dallas, Dad, Jessica, Aunt Laura, and Aunt Madison does. Nobody else really cares. I can't blame them, a old, dirty dog that's dying, who's blind and almost deaf? Who would love me?

It all began after we moved. I wasn't doing good, I was slowing down. I started taking naps, and I never got a bath anymore. I was breathing weird, so I was taken to the vet. They gave me a check up, and said something was wrong.

"She has a tumor, on her Spleen!" I never knew I had such a thing! Anyway, that settled it. Now I have a big lump at the side of me, and every time I breathe it goes all weird. Now, theres puppies around. They bug me. I don't care if they want to play, but I need some attention too!

I try to chase them, but it's no use! My leg always hurts, so I'm stuck limping. But I do have a story to tell, too.

Mackenzie has to Golden Retrievers. Caliedgh (pronounced Kailey), and Furgus. Caliedgh is as hyper as ever, but not anymore. Not since her lifetime pal, Furgus started acting weird. He wasn't breathing right, and he couldn't walk anymore. I mean, AT ALL. So the vet came over to see him.

He had a tumor too. Except his was on his lungs. Even worse, the vet had heartbreaking news. But poor, Fergie. He couldn't take anymore pain. Mackenzie's Mom, sat on the carpet, holding his big, soft, lovable head, and he was put down. That happened Monday night, the one that just passed.

So, thanks for reading, anyway. It might be one of my last entry's. If it is, Autn Madison will write stories about me. Thanks for everything, C.J.

Hi,
This time I'm planning to tell you about something scary. You might've been through it, are going through it, or will be someday, but anyway, I'll start.

It was a nice, beautiful sunny day. Our house was all empty, and nobody was inside. I tilted my head to one side and pranced out the door. There was Dad, looking cool, as always, and Aunt Madison, Grandma and Grandpa, all crying. I ran over to see what happened, and what they were looking at.

They were looking at the house! 'Huh?' I thought. I had no clue what was going on. Was there something I should know? I looked around, but my toys were still there. Were they going somewhere and leaving me behind? Soembody tellme whats going on!

We moved. Our new house is even better! Now we seven acres of grass, a creek, and a forest! So, good luck if you're moving!

A Winter Afternoon

Hello,
I'm here to tell you about my life. It might be exciting for you, I might not be your kind of dog. Anyway, I'll start, I don't want to waste your time.

One sunny winter afternoon, me and Grandpa (I prefer to call him Steve) were walking along our slippery, slidy, very thin bridge to across the creek. I was going to help him build something(that was supposed to filled with corn at the end!). The creek had a thin layer of ice on the top, so underneath the freezing cold water was still running. We had to go back and forth, back and forth, and back and forth. The last load was big, and Aunt Madison had to help carry across the bridge. She was in the lead, Steve in the middle, and me as the caboose.

They unloaded they're stuff at the other side, and motioned for me to follow. I forgot about the slippery bridge, and slipped! I clung to the bridge with my two front paws, my back feet in the ice cold water! I yelped, and Steve jumped onto the bridge and carried me across.

For about, 3 years I wouldn't cross the bridge, until Diesel was born, and moved here. He would run right across, showing off. He was younger and HE could do it! Finally I had enough! I slowly stepped across the bridge until I came to the other side! Everybody cheered and gave me treats.

I should've crossed the bridge earlier.
