On November 6th, Eli left us peacefully. Never waking up from his sleep, he passed away on the kitchen floor. The day before he was completly normal, and nothing was wrong with him. Then it was noticed that he was out of it, his eyes were glassy and he wouldnt respond to his name or take food when offered. Within 45 minutes of his actions being noticed, he died peacefully. He is very well missed and there will never be another dog like him. Nothing can replace him. I LOVE YOU BUDDY!!!! RIP.

You can't buy loyalty, they say
I bought it though, the other day;
You can't buy friendship, tried and true,
Well just the same, I bought that too.
I made my bid, and on the spot
Bought love and faith and a whole job lot
Of happiness, so all in all
The purchase price was pretty small.
I bought a single trusting heart,
That gave devotion from the start.
If you think these things are not for sale,
Buy a brown-eyed puppy with a stump for a tail.

Before Sarah and Sweety came along I was playing outside. The fence was getting a little old. I went down to play and roam around near the shed. I was walking up against the fence and then my leg got stuck. Ouch! is right! Then I limped up to the deck stairs and waited at the door. Daddy saw me and let me in. He had to go somewhere that night with Mommy so he noticed I was hurt. He told my family Jenn, Amy and Mike not to bother me. That night I was taken to the animal hospital. My leg was sprained. I had to wear a green cast. When I was at home I had something shaped like a lamp shade around my neck, so I didn't bite my leg. Later they switched my cast to blue. I didn't like it when some one touches my leg. I'll always remember that.
