Cookie has saved my life and made me healthier. When she came into my life in 1997, I was having problems with Rheumatoid Arthritis. It was so easy to just lay on the couch and feel sorry for myself. Having Cookie made me get up to feed her, take care of her and most of all walk her. We started walking that first week and haven't stopped. While Rheumatoid Arthritis doesn't go away, I am much better thanks to walking Cookie. She loves to walk and all I have to do is get her leash or just whisper in her ear and she's ready. We used to go to the park but she is afraid of large dogs.
Today when I don't feel good and have to rest Cookie is always there for me. She sleeps by me and I can always reach out and pet her. I don't know what I would do without her.
