Arrival Story:
A rural shelter near Pittsburgh was forced to close its dog kennel and build a new one because the old one was collapsing. All the dogs needed to find homes within 72 hours and after I saw this story on the news I went down and chose Buddy. He had just come into the shelter as was whining and jumping around in his cage. He seemed so anxious to have some fun! I took him out for a short walk, and he immediately calmed down and started sniffing everything, in true beagle fashion. He did stop several times to see if I was still behind him and to come and give me a quick lick and I knew I had to pick him!
Although he was severely underweight and had signs of being abused, he's a great dog, though he is a little timid at times...
Bio:
Buddy is a very shy little beagle, but is sweet as can be! He's still not sure about his younger dog "brother" PJ, but I can't say I blame. PJ can be an idiot!
