 Quick Bio:
 Birthday: February 14th 2003
Likes: snuggles with Mom, going for rides in sister Heidi Ho Ho's stroller, sleeping in the big bed, ZOOMIES !!!!

Pet-Peeves: strangers, having nails trimmed

Favorite Toy: whichever one Heidi Ho Ho lets him have

Favorite Food: Cheese Please !!!!

Favorite Walk: anywhere with my mom

Best Tricks: Protecting Heidi Ho Ho, being a great foster brother for our rescues

Arrival Story: Valentin had been adopted in Toronto and through not fault of his own, the adoption failed. I was living in Montreal at the time, and coming back to visit family in the TO area for Thanksgiving, so I offered to bring V back with me. V is afraid of strangers from his abusive past, but came straight to me. He and my golden (now passed) were instant buddies. By the time we had returned to Montreal, Valentin had adopted me!!!! Quite a change after 30 years of goldens and being a golden rescue foster home. I told people that he was really a golden who had been left too long under the dryer.

Bio: Valentin is bilingual!!! He learned his commands first in French and then in English. He still has fear aggression issues from his abusive and puppy mill past, but he is getting better. He was so lost when our golden died. When Heidi Ho Ho arrived in our family, they bonded almost instantly :-)

Forums Motto: Bark first, ask questions later

Well, it is no longer boring here. My sister, Heidi Ho Ho and the new foster have squared off a couple of times.
I kinda like the new foster, we race around and play and wrestle together all day.
On the new, but maybe not so good news side, hoomom has a "behaviourist" comin' to see me in a few big sleeps. Hoomom says dis is a good ting, dat I will not be so afraids and bark and not chase people away who get too close to my hoomom (HEY, she is MY hoomom, why not keep people away from her?)
Hoomom says dat I will be happier, but I don't like changes.
I will report back on dis "behaviourist" thing.

It has not been much fun this week. Heidi has been gone every day this week and when she is home, all she wants to do is sleep zzzzzzzzzzz
I am SO bored. I tried to find things to do, but mom gets mad at me. I thought her new lip balm tasted kinda good. And she did leave the garbage down where a doxie could reach that nice bacon package.
I am sure you will all agree that is too much temptation for one little doxie left alone all day.
Sure hope Heidi is back to herself and stays with me again, while Mom goes to that thing she calls "work". Heidi has gone to "work" with mom, but Heidi is so tired when she comes home that she has not told me what "work" is like. Has anybody else been to this "work"?
Off to learn a new way to play solitaire

Da hoomom is bein' mean to me. I haf to stay in da kitchen ALL DAY wif da pee pads. Peeing on da carpet in da dining room was much softer (doggie Charmin)
I busted out of da kitchen twice; so now mom puts up da gate AND da ex pen oustide da gate - so if I busts out of da kitchen, I is still in jail.
Woof, woof, woof My sister Heidi gets to run free coz she had da diapers on. Not fair !!!!
You can't make me pee on da pad, you can't make me pee on da pad, you can't make me -- uh oh, gotta to pee (ok, on da pad)
