I have been so busy. I am 6 and a half months old now and I have completed two obedience school courses. I know all the stuff but I just get so excited when the other dogs are around. I love all other dogs so much no matter how big or little they are! I went to something called conformation training the other night but we just watched because I was too excited and besides I'm not used to the lead. I like my leash and collar way better. My canine Mom and Dad were show champions. I wonder if they liked it? Obedience school was more fun - especially when we had puppy play time. Speaking of that, the last two Saturday's, there have been puppy play parties with other Vizsla puppys. Boy has that been fun! Yesterday, we all met in a big open area where dogs can be off leash. There were about 20 Vizslas and so many other dogs around. A couple was jogging with two Irish Setters and I joined in with them and had a great jog running between the two Irish guys until my Dad finally caught up with us and was kind of irritated and put me on the leash for a bit. Then we all went to a big water hole. I was scared to go in like some of the dogs were. Besides I was too busy chasing around with some of the dogs. Then I decided I really liked this older Vizsla who had a collar just like mine. He was way cool and I followed him everywhere. He taught me alot. Tomorrow I am going hunting with my Dad for the first time. Mom is staying home, cause she says she has lots to do when I am gone and can't do a darn thing but keep an eye on me when I'm in the house. I like to grab stuff and hope they will chase me. It's really fun. They try not to chase me and to get me to come. Sometimes I do and sometimes I don't. I've had the cell phone a couple of times. I also like to take the land phone off the hook. Dad says he thinks I'm trying to call my canine Mom. I get to sleep in the bed now between Mom and Dad and boy do I love that. I sleep in my crate until late at night and then they pick me up and cuddle with me. Last night I chewed a corner of the down confort. There were lots of feathers floating around. There sure are lots of fun things to do.

My neighbor and other new adventures

There is a dog that lives in the yard behind me named Mr. Jippers. He is a Terrier and is one year old. I was so scared of him when I first came here. When he would bark at me, I ran under the deck. That freaked my Mom out. I can't do that anymore. I'm too big. Anyway, I started getting less scared and a week or two ago I started running the fence and barking with him. We were about the same size. Now we get to play together every day almost. We run and wrestle. I can stand over him now. He is fun. I have also been going on rides in the car to parks where we walk and I sometimes get to go loose and bound through the tall grass. Mom says I can do that, because I always come when I am called. Yesterday we went early in the morning and we saw a fox on the trail. It was looking at me like it thought I was a fox. I was way scared. I also waded in the lake and even though I was on the leash I showed my people that I can swim. It has been so hot that we have to go early in the morning or in the evening just before dark. It is sure boring during the day. I can't wait for Saturday to go back to school!

First day of school

Today was my first day at obedience school. I am just 3 month's old and there was another dog g there that was born the same day as me. She was really neat - a Neufoundland - really fluffy. I loved her fur. She was a little bigger than me but we had fun. There were other dogs there too, about 5 others and they were ok but Sofie was so cool. At first I was a little scared of the bigger dogs but they were all nice. The teacher said there were no bullies in the class. I'm glad of that. My Mom brought really yummy treats and I ate alot and did pretty well but I got so tired! Now I have to go take a nap, because later I will probably play with my neighbor, a year old terrier that lives behind me.
